 Rabat, June 04, 2011 (SPS) - A member of the February 20 youth movement, a group demanding democratic changes in Morocco, died yesterday in a hospital after suffering injuries during a demonstration on May 29, the organization said in an e-mailed statement.

London, June 03, 11 (SPS) - Moroccan authorities must not use excessive force against protesters, Amnesty International said today, as activists called for renewed pro-reform demonstrations across the country on Sunday.

Scores of protesters in Morocco have been physically assaulted by security forces in recent weeks.

Seven protesters are still detained in Tangiers and face criminal charges in relation to their participation in protests.

Algiers, June 1, 2011 (SPS) - About 150 tons of food will be sent next week to the Saharawi refugee camps, indicated, Tuesday in Algiers, the president of the Algerian Red Crescent (ARC), M. Hadj Hamou Benzeguir.

"A caravan carrying about 150 tons of food will be sent next week to the Saharawi refugee camps on the occasion of the month of Ramadan," expected at end of July, specified Mr. Benzeguir in a statement to the press on the sidelines of a departure ceremony of a caravan carrying school fits to Sahrawi refugee camps.
