Algiers, June 1, 2011 (SPS) - About 150 tons of food will be sent next week to the Saharawi refugee camps, indicated Tuesday in Algiers the president of the Algerian Red Crescent (ARC), M. Hadj Hamou Benzeguir.
"A caravan carrying about 150 tons of food will be sent next week to the Saharawi refugee camps on the occasion of the month of Ramadan," expected at end of July, specified Mr. Benzeguir in a statement to the press on the sidelines of a departure ceremony of a caravan carrying school fits to Sahrawi refugee camps.
This Algerian caravan is a part of humanitarian aid sent in solidarity with the Saharawi people," he underlined. (SPS)
