El Aaiun (Occupied Territories), June 1, 2011 (SPS) – The investigating judge in the court of occupied El Aaiun refused Tuesday to perform an autopsy to the corpse of Martyr Saeed Dambar, in the section of deaths in al-Hasan ibn al-Mahdi Hospital, El Aaiun, since December 23, according to Sahrawi human rights sources.
He justified his decision by being content with the statement of the witness who was present when a Moroccan policeman fired with his pistol the 26-year-old young Sahrawi.
The Martyr’s family and the defense had asked, immediately after the crime, the so-called public prosecutor in the court of appeal in the city to perform an independent investigation and autopsy to detect the facts and circumstances of the death of its son, December 22, by live bullets of Moroccan policeman’ pistol.
It should be recalled, the house of the martyr's family had been attacked many times by the Moroccan police and gendarmerie, after organizing vigils demanding the disclosure of the circumstances of the death of its son. (SPS)
