President of Republic draws attention of Ban ki-moon about Morocco intentions to include Western Sahara in its constitutional reforms

Bir Lehlou( liberated territories) June24,2011(SPS) President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, Friday, drew attention of Secretary General of the United Nations , Ban Ki-moon, about Moroccan intentions to include the  occupied territories of Western Sahara in the ongoing  Moroccan constitutional reforms.

Tripartite Algeria-South Africa-Nigeria: Intense preparations

Algiers, June 22, 2011 (SPS) - As part of the preparation of the tripartite meeting Algeria-South Africa-Nigeria of movement of solidarity with the Saharawi people, the Algeria-South Africa Coordination in solidarity with the Saharawi Republic (SADR) met Tuesday, in Algiers in the presence of the President of CNASPS, Ms. Makina Zanella, North Africa director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Africa and vice-president of the organization United Cities and Local Governments of Africa.

African strategy of solidarity with Sahrawi people adopted

Algiers, June 22, 2011 (SPS) - The members of United Cities and Local Governments of Africa has adopted Tuesday in Algiers a strategic document on the measures that African states supporting the Sahrawi cause should adopt to speed up the liberation of the last colony in Africa.

Algiers, June 22, 2011 (SPS) - "The position of South Africa for independence of Western Sahara will remain the same with the change of government in our country," said Ms. Makina Zanella, North Africa director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Africa at the meeting Tuesday in Algiers, of the Algeria- South Africa Coordination as part of the preparations for the tripartite meeting of the Movement of Solidarity with the Saharawi people scheduled for September which will include Nigeria.

New road map in favour of struggle for independence of Western Sahara

Algiers, June 22, 2011 (SPS) - A new road map for the struggle for independence of Western Sahara has been established by the Algeria-South Africa Coordination (CNASPS) which met Tuesday in Algiers as part of preparations for the tripartite meeting of the Movement of Solidarity with the Saharawi people, scheduled for September and which will include Nigeria.

 Brussels, June 21, 2011 (SPS) – EU Member States are expected to split this week on whether to extend the embattled Fisheries Partnership Agreement (FPA) between the EU and Morocco, regarded by most as illegal and rejecting by Countries include the UK and Germany for failing to benefit the people of Western Sahara.

As Ambassadors prepare to meet on 22 June in Brussels to decide the fate of the agreement, the Polisario Front , has urged the EU to scrap the deal.

Lajwad (liberated territories) June 20, 2010 (SPS) - The Saharawi worker in the British Landmine Action’s organization in Western Sahara, Mr. Sidi Mohamed Mohamed Bouzaid, died Saturday during his duties, due to unexploded remnants goes back to the period of war between the Polisario Front and Morocco, according to a source in the Organization.

Shaheed Al Hafed (refugee camps) June 18, 2011 (SPS) - The Saharawi government confirmed Sunday that the constitution of the Moroccan Kingdom “is an internal document that doesn't concern  the Saharawi people”, considering that imposing of  unilateral colonial approach is “further an escape forward and continuation for the expansionist policies that threaten security, peace and stability in the region,”   said the Government  in a statement reached SPS.

This day is initiated by the Algerian Committee of Solidarity with the Saharawi People and attended by a big delegation from the occupied territories of Western Sahara which participated in the national conference for policies of youth held in wilaya of Dakhla from 9to 11 june, 2011.
