Algiers, June 22, 2011 (SPS) - A new road map for the struggle for independence of Western Sahara has been established by the Algeria-South Africa Coordination (CNASPS) which met Tuesday in Algiers as part of preparations for the tripartite meeting of the Movement of Solidarity with the Saharawi people, scheduled for September and which will include Nigeria.

The document was discussed before adoption and the adoption of an effective strategy for its application in the field of political and diplomatic battle, said Ms. Makina Zanella, North Africa director at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South African and Vice-President of the CNASPS and local governments of the African Union.

Ms. Zanella expressed regret for the harsh living conditions of Saharawis in the refugee camps and specified that all possible means will be deployed for the progress of the Western Sahara cause. She spoke among other things about the involvement of famous artistic personalities, sponsors, sports stars and associative organizations of all African countries, as well as diplomats whose role is crucial to advance the decolonization process of the last colony in Africa at the beginning of the 21st century.
