Intense attacks continue on Moroccan occupation army's entrenchments

Bir Lahlou (Sahrawi Republic), Nov 19th, 2020 (SPS) - The Sahrawi People's Liberation Army units  conducted today, Thursday, intense attacks on the Moroccan military wall of defense, targeted different positions of the enemy forces causing significant damages among enemy ranks, according to military communiqué No. 07 of the Ministry of National Defense.
The strikes of SPLA fighters targeted for the seventh days consecutives military positions of the enemy in the Farsia, Amgala, Hauza and Am Draigga Sectors. SPS

New SADR ambassador presents his credentials to the President of South Africa

British NGO criticizes UN failure in Western Sahara

Chahid El-Hafed, Nov 19TH, 2020 (SPS) - The British Non-Governmental Organization Western Sahara Campaign criticized “the failure of the United Nations to address the situation in the El Guergarat area, which shows the great failure of the Council of Security in organizing a referendum of self-determination so that the Saharawi people can decide their future ”.

Bir Lahlou (SADR Liberated Territories), Nov 19 2020 (SPS) - The Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) fighters continued on Wednesday, for the sixth consecutive day, intense strikes on the enemy entrenchments along its wall of shame, causing human and material damages, according to military communiqué No. 06 of the National Ministry of Defense.

Morocco’s stick to ceasefire lie, Saharawi people determined to continue struggle (POLISARIO UN Representative)

Washington,  19 November 2020 (SPS) - Polisario Front’s Representative at UN, Dr. Sidi Mohamed Omar, said it is very difficult in this moment to speak about a peace negotiations, after Morocco launched military attack on Western Sahara.
Speaking to CNN, the Saharawi official highlighted that the Saharawi people was obliged to respond to this aggression, reaffirming the Saharawi people’s will to continue the fight for liberating their country.

Austrian Socialist & Communist Youth Federation call on government of their countries to recognize SADR

Vienna (Austria) Nov 19, 2020 (SPS) - The Socialist Youth Union and the Austrian Communist Youth Union called on the government of their countries, on Monday, November 16, to recognize the SADR, following the new Moroccan military aggression in the Guerguerat area.

Moroccan occupying authorities prevent Sahrawi activist Aminatou Haidar from traveling

El Aaiun (Occupied Territories of SADR), 19 November 2020 (SPS) - The Moroccan occupying authorities on Wednesday prevented the Saharawi human rights activist, Aminatou Haidar, from traveling to Spain.
In a statement to the public opinion, the activist said that this move comes as part of a large-scale policy pursued by Morocco against the Saharawi human rights activists and defenders, including of which members of the Saharawi Authority against Moroccan Occupation (ISACOM).

LEFT in European Parliament condemns Morroco’s military invasion in Guergerat

Brussels, 19 November 2020 (SPS) - The LEFT Group in the European Parliament has “strongly condemned” the Moroccan military invasion in the liberated zone of Guergerat, describing this act as “an unacceptable violation” of the UN-backed ceasefire.
In a statement published today on their website, the LEFT highlighted that Morocco’s recent troop deployment to Western Sahara “is not only an affront to the sovereignty of the Sahrawi people, but also an unacceptable violation of the UN-backed ceasefire.

South Africa: SADR is an international reality that cannot be surpassed

New York (United States of America), Nov, 18 2020 (SPS) - The Republic of South Africa affirmed that the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic is an international reality that cannot be surpassed.
‘’South Africa wishes to reiterate that the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic is a founding and full member state of the African Union, which was established on 9 July 2002’’ explained a letter dated 12 November 2020 from the Permanent Representative of South Africa to the President of UN Security Council.

Bir Lehlu (SADR Liberated Territories), 17 November 2020 (SPS) - The President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, has made clear that the Saharawi Republic “does not seek bloodshed, but the Moroccan expansionist regime forced us to go on war.”
In a press statement, the Commander-In-Chief of the Armed Forces said that the resistance of the Saharawi people “will pursue the language the Moroccan occupation does understand”.

Washington, D.C., 17 November 2020 (SPS) - Once again the Kingdom of Morocco has attacked innocent Sahrawi civilians for peacefully demonstrating their right to self determination, but this time they literally “crossed the line” attacking civilians in the demilitarized zone near Gueruerat border area last week.   International human rights organizations have long condemned Morocco’s brutality against the Sahrawi population in Moroccan Occupied Western Sahara, but this time the Kingdom of Morocco has attacked across the border to the liberated area of Western Sahara.
