Bir Lehlou (Saharawi Republic) 13 November 2020 (SPS)- President of the Republic and Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr Brahim Ghali, today sent an urgent letter to the UN Secretary-General, Mr António Guterres, and the President of the Security Council, Ambassador Inga Rhonda King, Permanent Representative of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the United Nations, informing them of the implications of today’s aggressive attack by Moroccan forces on unarmed Sahrawi civilians who have been demonstrating peacefully in Guerguerat in south-western Western Sahar

The Moroccan Armed Forces have deliberately violated the Ceasefire agreement signed between the two parties to the conflict in Western Sahara (Frente POLISARIO and Morocco) by sending military forces through three routes east of the illegal breach in Guerguerat to Sahrawi civilians who were demonstrating peacefully in the areas since October 21.

Guerguerat, November 13, 2020 (SPS) - In a flagrant violation of the ceasefire agreement, the Moroccan occupation forces opened three new breaches in the Moroccan military wall of shame on Friday to attack the peaceful Sahrawi protesters who are protesting peacefully in Guerguerat.
In response to this flagrant attack, the forces of the Saharawi People's Liberation Army responded appropriately to this attack.SPS

Bir Lehlu (liberated territories), Nov 12, 2020 (SPS) - Citizens of the liberated municipality of Bir Lehlu Wednesday organized a peaceful demonstration in front of the MINURSO mission.
Demonstrators have raised national slogans and flags, carrying banners showing the suffering of Sahrawi children, all chanting slogans demanding the independence of Western Sahara and life in full freedom.

USA Senator condemns Morocco's violation of ceasefire agreement in the Guerguerat region

Washington (USA), Nov 11, 2020 (SPS) - US Senator James Einhoff condemned Morocco's breach of ceasefire agreement signed by both parties to the conflict, "the Frente POLISARIO and Morocco", under the supervision of the United Nations.
Einhoff, in a speech to members of the US Congress, said, "The presence of Moroccan forces in the Guerguerat region is a clear violation of ceasefire agreement between the two parties."

Algiers, 9 November 2020 (SPS) - Ambassador of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) in Algeria, Abdelkader Taleb Omar, described Saturday the opening by some countries of diplomatic representations in the occupied Sahrawi territories, particularly in El-Ayoun, as "heckling" without legal implications," saying it is a flagrant violation of international law by the Moroccan regime.

Pretoria (South Africa), Nov 04, 2020 (SPS) - The new ambassador of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic to the Republic of South Africa, Mohamed Yeslem Beissat, has presented a copy of his credentials to the Director General of State Protocol of the brother African country, Ambassador Nonceba Losi.
At the ceremony, the South African representative welcomed the new SADR ambassador, to whom she reiterated her country's firm support for the just Sahrawi struggle against colonialism and for the total independence of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic.
