New York, April 28, 2015 (SPS) - The UN Security Council unanimously adopted Tuesday the 2218 Resolution on Western Sahara, in which it called for intensifying the negotiations between the parties to the conflict, the Frente Polisario and Morocco, in the aim to reach a jut and durable political solution to the question of Western Sahara.

Gernika (Basque Region), April 26, 2015 (SPS) - The Gernika Award for Peace and Reconciliation for 2015 was presented on Sunday to the President of Parliament, Khatri Addouh, on behalf of the President of the Republic, Mohamed Abdelaziz, after a ceremony commemorating the 78th anniversary of the bombing of the city of Gernika.

New York, April 26, 2015 (SPS) - The African countries have demanded the participation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) at the United Nations Conference of Nuclear-Weapon-Free Zones.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the conference due to be held Friday at the United Nations headquarters in New York, was suspended as result to opposition from African countries to attempt by Morocco to disrupt the work of the conference intended to prevent the participation of the SADR.

During the meeting, the two ministers discussed various issues of common interest, especially cooperation agreements signed between the Saharawi Republic and Cuba in the field of health.
