Bir Lehlu (Liberated Territories), 29 December 2023 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) successfully targeted the command post of the Moroccan occupation army's seventh brigade in the Mahbes sector on Friday, causing "significant losses in personnel and equipment," according to a military statement issued by the Central Directorate for Political Affairs of the Sahrawi Army.

Rabat, 22 December 2023 (SPS) - Russia's Foreign minister Sergey Lavrov reiterated his country's firm and unchanging position over Western Sahara conflict, expressing support for a "peaceful and sustainable" settlement based on UN resolutions.
"Our approaches remain unchanged, balanced and unbiased. We support making expeditious progress towards a sustainable and long-term settlement based on the relevant UN Security Council resolutions," Lavrov said Wednesday, at a news conference in Marrakech, Morocco.
NGO calls for “immediate” release of Gdeim Izik group’s political prisoners
Dublin, 22 December (SPS) - The international organization Front Line Defenders called Wednesday Morocco to immediately release the Sahrawi political prisoners of Gdeim Izik group, who have been held in arbitrary detention for more than 13 years.
