Moroccan authorities prevent Sahrawi Civilian Prisoner from his right to medication

Ait Melloul (Morocco), July 26, 2023 (SPS) - The Association for the Protection of Sahrawi Prisoners in Moroccan Prisons reported that the Sahrawi civilian prisoner within the “Gedim Izik group” Mohamed Ahnini Bani was prevented from his right to medicine and treatment.

The Association reported that the prisoner Mohamed Bani told his wife after she called him, that Moroccan authorities in the prison of Ait Melloul 2 deliberately prevented him from transporting to the hospital outside the prison for medical examinations due to squeamishness.

Sao Paulo Forum: Adoption of resolution in support of Sahrawi people and its just cause

Brasilia, 3 July 2023 (SPS) - The Sao Paulo International Forum unanimously adopted a resolution supporting the Saharawi people and their just cause, and demanding an end to the Moroccan occupation of the Sahrawi territories.
The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic marked its presence at the 26th Sao Paolo Forum in Brazil (June 29 to July 2), which also saw the participation of several political parties, associative movements and organizations from Latin America and the Caribbean.

Rome (Italy), June 03, 2023 (SPS) - The Italian Movement of Solidarity with the Sahrawi People received Monday at Rome International Airport messengers of peace coming from Sahrawi refugee camps to spend their summer holidays in Italy.
The children were received at Rome International Airport by many activists of the Italian Movement of Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, represented by the heads of associations and solidarity members.

Shaheed Al Hafed, 2 July 2023 (SPS) -  The National Secretariat of the Polisario Front on Sunday held its second ordinary session, under the chairmanship of the President of the Republic, the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, to discuss national and international issues.
In his speech at the opening of the session, the President of the Republic indicated that the session will assess the past period to improve performance and develop plans and programs for the next phase.

Belgrade, 1 July 2023 (SPS) - Serbia has reiterated its support for the UN-led process aimed at achieving a "just and lasting" solution to the conflict in Western Sahara, according to a statement of its Foreign Ministry on Thursday.
On the occasion of an audience granted to the Algerian ambassador to Belgrade, Fatah Mahraz, Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic confirmed Serbia's position on the need for a "peaceful settlement" of all disputes, including the Western Sahara issue.
