Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 26 June 2023 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out new attacks targeting the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbes and Farsia sectors, inflicting "considerable human and material losses", the Ministry of Defense indicated Sunday in its military communiqué N 823.
According to the military communiqué, advanced SPLA units targeted the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in the El Fiyine region in the Farsia sector.

Panama, June 25, 2023 (SPS) - The International Union of Socialist Youth (IUSY) condemned, on Saturday in Panama, the Moroccan occupier's violation of international legality in Western Sahara, reiterating the Saharawi people's right to self-determination.
The delegations taking part in the closing session of the 35th IUSY conference, held in the capital of Panama, condemned Morocco's violation of international law in Western Sahara, through a recommendation formulated by the Saharawi delegation.

According to the communiqué, "advanced units of the Saharawi army bombarded the headquarters of command of the 65th battalion of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Laagad region in the Mahbes sector".

Belgrade (Serbia), June 22, 2023 (SPS) - Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, on Wednesday held talks with his Serbian counterpart, Mr. Ivica Dacic, in the Serbian capital, Belgrade, as part of the European Tour commissioned by the president of the Republic of Algeria, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

New York (United Nations), 22 June 2023 (SPS) - The Polisario Front has denounced a new attempt by the Moroccan Makhzen regime to "mislead" United Nations (UN) member states with lies and unfounded information about Western Sahara, reaffirming that the Sahrawi cause "is a question of decolonization whose resolution must inevitably involve the organization of a referendum on self-determination.”

Ivry-Sur-Seine (France) - French human rights activist Claude Mangin, wife of Sahrawi prisoner Naâma Asfari, has reaffirmed the solidarity of the commune of Ivry-sur-Seine with the oppressed Palestinian and Sahrawi peoples, denouncing the detention conditions of Sahrawi prisoners in Moroccan jails.

New York (United Nations), 18 June 2023 (SPS) - The Algeria Office of the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) has been named one of UNICEF's top five team winners for its "impressive support" to Sahrawi refugee children and their families.
The award, which was announced and celebrated by UNICEF's Executive Board in New York on Friday, is a concrete testimony and a well-deserved tribute to the quality work carried out by UNICEF teams and partners on the ground in support of Sahrawi refugees.

Algiers, 17 June 2023 (SPS) - The participants in Diplomatic Forum of Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, held Saturday in Algiers, stressed the need for Western Sahara people to enjoy their right to self-determination and independence, guaranteed by international agreements, and the necessity to support Sahrawi people in the face of the challenges imposed on them by the Moroccan occupation, which is undermining the peace process.

Shaheed Al Hafed, 17 June 2023 (SPS) - The 53rd double anniversary of Zemla Uprising and National Day of the Disappeared Sahrawi, 17 June, was commemorated on Saturday in the wilaya of Shaheed Al Hafed in the Sahrawi refugee camps, in the presence of the President of the Republic, the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, members of the National Secretariat, the government, and state officials.

Dili (Timor-Leste), June 16th, 2023- The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of the Democratic Republic of Timor-Leste, H.E.Mrs. Adaljiza Reis Magno received Friday in the Capital Dili, the Ambassador of Sahrawi Republic (S.A.D.R), Mr. Abba Malainin and reaffirms the support for the struggle of the Sahrawi people to Self-determination and independence.

Boujdour (Refugee Camps), 12 June 2023 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, on Saturday renewed call on the European Union to abide by international law in Western Sahara, apply the rulings of the European Court of Justice and respect its decision to refrain from signing any agreement with the Kingdom of Morocco that affects the Sahrawi territorial lands, airspace or waters.
