Gaborone (Botswana) 27 July 2022 (SPS)- Gaborone City Mayor, His Worship Austin Abraham, paid a Courtesy Call to the Saharawi Embassy in Gaborone,Today morning, where he met with the Ambassador of the Saharawi Republic in Botswana and Permanent Representative to SADC, Mr. Malainin Mohamed.

BNF stands in solidarity with the Saharawi people and condemns Moroccan occupation

Gaborone (Botswana) 26 July 2022 (SPS)- The National Elective Congress of Botswana National Front (BNF) expressed its resolution to continue condemning the Moroccan occupation of parts of Western Sahara, and supports Saharawi people’s right to self-determination.
The Congress held last 16 to 19 July, adopted a resolution in which it “continues to condemn the colonisation of the peoples of the Republic of Western Sahara by Morocco and stand with the oppressed masses therein in their struggle for political and economic self-determination.”

SPLA carries out new attacks against Moroccan occupying forces in Mahbes and Auserd sectors

Birlahlou (Liberated Territories), 24 July 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out, on Sunday, new attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in the sectors of Mahbes and Auserd, indicated the Ministry of Defense in its communiqué N 592.
According to the communiqué, "Sahrawi Army units have targeted the positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the regions of Oudi Adhamrane and Agrarat Fersik (Mahbes) as well as Guelb Ennos (Auserd).

Morocco wanted to impose puppet interlocutors on De Mistura

Algiers, 24 July 2022 (SPS) - Personal envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Western Sahara, Staffan de Mistura, has canceled his trip to the occupied Sahrawi cities because Moroccan authorities wanted to impose on him "puppet" interlocutors, said Sunday the special envoy in charge of the Western Sahara issue and Maghreb countries, Amar Belani, calling the decision of the Italian-Swedish diplomat "honorable."

United States should no longer hold its annual military exercise in Morocco

SPLA concentrate their attacks against enemy forces in the Mahbes sector

Bir Lehlu (Saharawi Republic), 21, July 2022 (SPS) - The Units of the Saharawi People Liberation Army (SPLA) have concentrated Thursday their attacks against the enemy forces in the Mahbes sector.
According to War Report No. 590 made public by the Ministry of National Defense, advance detachments of the SPLA launched intense and concentrated bombardments against the positions of soldiers of the occupying forces entrenched in the Um Lagti and Asluguiyat Acheidmiya regions, in the Mahbes sector.

Bir Lehlou (Saharawi Republic) 20 July 2022 (SPS)- The President of the Saharawi Republic and Secretary General of Frente Polisario, Brahim Ghali, presented deep condolences to the President of South Africa, Cyril Ramaphosa, on the passing of the Deputy Secretary General of the African National Congress, Mrs. Jasmine Duarte.
In a letter addressed to his counterpart last Sunday, the Saharawi President extended to President Ramaphosa “and to the family and comrades of the deceased our most heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies at this painful time.”

SPLA attack targets of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Um Dreiga sector

Bir Lehlu (Saharawi Republic), 19, July 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Saharawi People Liberation Army (SPLA) attacked Tuesday several targets of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Um Dreiga sector on, leaving considerable human and material losses in their ranks.
According to War Report No. 588 of the Ministry of National Defense, forward detachments of our army launched intense bombardments against enemy positions in the Azamul Um Jamla region, in the Um Dreiga sector.

Birlahlou (liberated territories), 18 July 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out Monday new attacks against the positions of Moroccan occupation soldiers in the Hawza sector, according to military statement No. 587 issued by the Ministry of Defense.
The statement indicated that, the SPLA “targeted the positions of the occupation soldiers in the area of Ross Dirt in the Hawza sector.”

NUSW receives humanitarian assistance from Balloona Matata Association

The assistance, consisting of a bus loaded with electronic media equipment and sewing machines, was received by the Member of the National secretariat, Secretary-General of NUSW, Ms.  Shaba Seiny, and the Executive Office, indicated NUSW's Information Officer, Ms. Alaajla Sheikh Ala.
