Saharawi prisoner Abdallah Abbahah deprived of medical care by the Moroccan prison administration

Occupied Aaiun , Jan 4, 2022 (SPS) -  The Saharawi prisoner, Sidi Abdallah Ahmed Sidi Abbahah, suffers from several health problems while the administration of the Moroccan prison of Tifelt 2, east of Rabat, where he is detained, continues to deprive him of his right to medical care and treatment.
In a statement to the APS, Souad Abbahah, sister of the detainee, said that "his brother is suffering martyrdom behind bars in Tifelt 2 prison where he is deprived of his most basic rights such as medical care".

SPLA launch new attacks against occupation forces in Mahbes sector

Bir Lehlu (Sahrawi Republic), Jan 4, 2022 (SPS) - The units of the Saharawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) today launched new attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbes sector.
According to War Report No. 418 of the Ministry of National Defense, detachments of our army carried out concentrated bombardments against the occupation forces positioned in the Laagad region, Mahbes sector.

Public Health Ministry announces the weekly epidemiological situation

Chahid El Hafed, Jan 04, 2022 (SPS)- The Ministry of Public Health announced the outcome of the epidemiological situation during the past week, where it recorded 23 cases infected with the new Corona virus, 01 cases of recovery and 01 deaths during the past week, bringing the total cases infected with the Corona virus to 1894 cases. Confirmed, 1745 of them have recovered, and 79 have died.SPS

New attacks by SPLA against forces of Moroccan occupier

Bir Lahlou, 3 January 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) have carried out new attacks against the forces of the Moroccan occupier in the Al Mahbas sector, the Ministry of Defense indicated on Monday in its military communiqué No. 417.
According to the communiqué, "SPLA units bombarded the soldiers of the Moroccan occupier in the Oudi Edamrane area in the Al Mahbas sector."

Prime Minister chairs cabinet meeting

Shahid Al-Hafed, 2 January 2022 (SPS) -  Prime Minister, Bushraya Hamoudi Bayoun, on Sunday chaired a meeting of the Council of Government at the Prime Ministry's headquarters.
The meeting was devoted to responding to questions from members of the National Council (Parliament) on assessing the government's 2021 program.

SPLA bombards entrenchments of Moroccan occupation soldiers in Mahbas sector

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 1 January 2022 (SPS) - Advanced units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) bombed sites of the Moroccan occupation forces entrenched behind the berm in the two regions of Laâked and Amitir Lemkhinza in the sector of Mahbas, according to the military communiqué No. 415 of the Ministry of Defence.
According to the communiqué, "advanced units of the SPLA intensified Saturday their bombardment on the entrenchments of soldiers of the Moroccan occupation in the region of Laâked in the sector of Mahbas".

President Ghali commends Algeria’s firm, principled position on Western Sahara

2021 year of achievements, 2022 will be that of independence

Algiers, 1 January 2022 (SPS) - Minister of Occupied Territories and Sahrawi Community Abroad, Mustafa Ali Sid Al-Bachir said that if 2021 was a year of " achievements," 2022 will be the year of " escalation " against Moroccan occupation until independence.
In an interview to APS, the minister said that the new year will witness "an escalation" in all directions, militarily, politically and diplomatically, "until the establishment of the sovereignty of the Sahrawi state over all the occupied territories.
