SPLA carries out new attacks against entrenchments of Moroccan occupation forces in Hawza

Birlahlou (Liberated Territories), 7 May 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out Friday new attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Hawza sector, indicated a communiqué of the Ministry of National Defense.
According to communiqué 526, "units of SPLA shelled entrenchments and positions of the Moroccan occupation forces in the areas of Akjkal north of Diret and Ahrichat Diret in the Hawza sector.

EU reiterates its "full support" for UN-led process in Western Sahara

Brussels, 7 May 2022 (SPS) - The European Union's High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, reaffirmed the EU's "full support" for the UN-led process to find "a just, lasting and mutually acceptable political solution to the conflict in Western Sahara", occupied by Morocco.

Bir Lehlu (Sahrawi Republic), 04, May 2022 (SPS) – The units of the Saharawi People Liberation Army (SPLA) have launched new attacks that have caused huge human and material losses in the enemy's ranks in the Mahbes and Auserd.
According to War Report No. 524 issued by the Ministry of National Defense, forward detachments of our army have carried out intense bombardments against the Moroccan occupation forces stationed in the Asteilat Bugrein region, in the Auserd sector.

Bir Lehlu (Sahrawi Republic), May 3, 2022 (SPS) - The Saharawi Popular People Army (SPLA) atacked Tuesday the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Asteilat Uld Bugrein region, in Auserd , causing enormous human and material losses in their ranks.
According to War Report No. 523 made public by the Ministry of National Defense, forward detachments of our army launched intense and concentrated bombardments against the enemy forces positioned in the Asteilat Uld Bugrein region, in the Auserd sector.

Birlahlou (Liberated Territories), 2 May 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out Sunday new attacks against the Moroccan occupation forces in the two regions of Astilet Ould Boukrine and Guelb Ennos (Auserd sector), said a communiqué of the Ministry of National Defense.
According to the military communiqué N521, "the Sahrawi army units bombarded the sites of the Moroccan occupation forces in the two regions of Astilet Ould Boukrine and Guelb Ennos in the sector of Auserd.

Sahrawi people determined to continue struggle until recovery of national sovereignty

Birlahlou (Liberated Territories), 30 April 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) have carried out intense attacks against the Moroccan occupation forces in the sectors of Mahbes and Haouza, indicated Friday a communiqué of the Ministry of National Defense.
According to communiqué No. 519, SPLA units bombarded the entrenchments and sites of the Moroccan occupation forces, concentrated on the areas of Agraret El Fersik, Oudi Edhamrane and Ros Essebti in the Mahbes sector.

According to War Report No. 516 made public by the Ministry of National Defense, advance detachments of our army carried out the attacks against the aforementioned regions.

Saharawi students in Moroccan prisons announce their entry into hunger strike

Al-Kunetira (Morocco), 27, April 2022 (SPS) – Several Saharawi political prisoners from the Saharawi student group known as “The Companions of Luali” have announced their entry into a forty-eight hour hunger strike.
According to sources from Saharawi human rights activists, the student activists who have decided to go on a hunger strike are Abdelmula Mohamed Al-Hafed, Bachir Brahim Amadur, Al-Bir Kentawi, Aziz Al-Wahidi and Mohamed Dadda.

League for Protection of Sahrawi Prisoners denounces poor conditions of detention in Kenitra

Occupied El Aaiun, 24 April 2022 (SPS) - The League for the Protection of Sahrawi prisoners in Moroccan prisons denounced the poor conditions of detention of Sahrawi political prisoners of the group "Gdeim Izik", Hassan Dah and Zaoui Houssine, on hunger strike in the central prison of Kenitra in Morocco.
In a statement based on the words of the Dah family, the league reported the poor conditions of detention following the isolation of the prisoners since April 3, 2022, as well as the deterioration of their health.

New York, 24 April 2022 (SPS) - The Polisario Front affirmed Friday that the strong stances of the members of the United Nations Security Council during the consultations on Western Sahara concerning the necessity of reaching a peaceful solution guaranteeing the Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination on the basis of UN resolutions, were a “clear response” to those who seek to promote doubtful solutions based on the violation of the fundamental rules of the international law.
