Chimbindi, considered in his statement before the UN substantive Session of the Special Committee on Decolonization (C-24) 76th Session of the UN General Assembly, held on Monday 13 June, that the UN, and the security Council in particular, must assume their responsibilities in the decolonization of the remaining 17 colonies.

SPLA units leave huge human and material losses in enemy ranks in Mahbes and Hauza regions

Bir Lehlu (Sahrawi Republic), 08, June 2022 (SPS) - The units of the Saharawi People Liberation Army (SPLA) have launched new attacks that have left enormous human and material losses on Tuesday in the enemy soldiers in the regions of Mahbes and Hauza.
According to War Report No. 553 issued by the Ministry of National Defense, the advanced detachment units of our army launched intense bombardments against the enemy forces in the regions of Fadrat Al-Ich, Fadrat Lagrab, Fadrat Al-Maras, Ahreichat Dirit and Fadrat Tamat, in the Hauza sector.

SPLA carries out new attacks against Moroccan occupation forces in Hawza sector

Birlahlou, 29 May 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) have carried out new attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupation forces in several areas in the sector of Hawza, indicated Saturday the Ministry of National Defense in its communiqué N 544.
According to the communiqué, "SPLA units targeted the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupying forces in the areas of Gseibi Najla, Gseib Amchghab and Gseibi Lamlas, in the Hawza sector.

Amnesty calls on Moroccan occupier to stop "harassing" Sahrawi activists

London, 28 May 2022 (SPS) - Amnesty International has called on the Moroccan authorities to end the "harassment" and "violence" against Sahrawi human rights activists after police officers and agents of the Moroccan occupation forces violently assaulted five Sahrawi activists in occupied Boujdour in Western Sahara recently.
The London-based non-governmental organization said it had investigated the circumstances of the separate attacks on five Saharawi activists on 15 and 16 April in the occupied city of Boujdour.

Spanish Congress rejects Sanchez decision, calls for respect of international legality

Madrid, 28 May 2022 (SPS) - The Spanish Congress adopted a resolution Thursday reaffirming the need to accomplish the decolonization process of Western Sahara, in full compliance with international legality and the UN resolutions, indicated a statement of the Parliament.
For the second time in less than two months, the Spanish Congress has expressed its rejection of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez's decision to support the Makhzen's so-called "autonomy" plan on the Western Sahara issue.
