Authorities of occupation expel Norwegian and Spanish observers

Al Aiun (Occupied Territories), Nov 07, 2012 (SPS) - The Moroccan authorities of occupation have expelled on Tuesday 04 Norwegians and 03 Spaniars orm occupied city of Al Aiun where they were trying to observ the deteriorating situation of human rights in occupied territories.

 

The expulsion comes three days after the visit of the  UN Secretary General’s Personal Envoy for Western Sahara, Mr. Christopher Ross, to the occupied city of Al Aiun, said statement of the Occupied Territories and Communities Abroad.

Bir Lehlu (Occupied Territories), Nov 06, 2012 (SPS) - President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Front Polisario Mohamed Abdelaziz has asserted that it is time to put an end of the Morocco's disregard of the international law and United Nations.

 

In a letter sent on Sunday to UN Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon, President of the Republic revealed that 90 Saharawi civilians were attacked as well as home raided in Saharawi occupied territories particularly Al Aiun, Smara and Dakhla.

 

Ross concludes working visit to Saharawi refugee camps

Mr. Hmudi Labsir presented to his interlocutors a brief overview about the Saharawi legislative institution and its historic role in the different stages of Saharawi people’s struggle.

Chahid Al hafed (refugee camps), Nov 4, 2012 (SPS) - The UN Secretary General’s Personal Envoy for Western Sahara, Ambassador Christopher Ross, applauded Sunday morning, during a meeting with Saharawi woman cadres, the leading role played by the Saharawi women in the struggle and work, proposing to Saharawi Woman Union to ask for the participation in POLISARO delegation that negotiate with Morocco.


At the meeting, Ross said that he have followed for years the work done by the Saharawi women.

Smara (occupied territories), Nov 4, 2012 (SPS) - Moroccan repressive forces brutally dispersed Saturday evening peaceful demonstrations in the occupied city f Smara calling for self-determination and independence of Western Sahara, leaving over 10 injured, according to a source from the Ministry of Occupied Territories and Communities Abroad.


The demonstrators raised flags of the Saharawi Republic and chanted slogans calling for self-determination and independence of Western Sahara.

The UN Personal Envoy arrived around 10 O’clock of Friday morning in the liberated town of Tifariti coming from the occupied Saharawi territories on a helicopter belonging to the United Nations, the source said.
