Prime Minister organizes farewell ceremony in honor of director of UNHCR office in the Saharawi refugee camps

Shaheed Al Hafed (refugee camps), Dec 31, 2011 (SPS) - The Prime Minister, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, organized Friday night at the guest house “Hosein Tamek” a farewell ceremony in honor of Mr. Mohammad Arif, Director, Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in the Sahrawi refugees camps, after the end of his duties.

The ceremony was attended by members of the Saharawi National Secretariat and Government as well as representatives of international NGOs working in the Saharawi refugee camps.

Algiers, December29. 2011 (SPS) Members of a delegation of activists of human rights from  the occupied territories of Western Sahara reaffirmed, in testimony Wednesday in Algiers, their "determination" to continue the "struggle" and "resistance" until achieve the Saharawi people’s right to self-determination .
 

These militants spoke on the occasion of a demonstration of solidarity with the Saharawi people, held at the headquarters of the Algerian National Committee of Solidarity with the Saharawi people (CNASPS).
 

Uruguayan association celebrates 6th anniversary of recognition of SADR

Montevideo , December 28, 2011 (SPS) the Uruguayan Association of Friendship with SADR, celebrated Monday, the 6th anniversary of the recognition of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic(SADR) by the Uruguayan government, According to Saharawi embassy in Montevideo.

The ceremony was attended by  the Foreign Minister of Uruguay, Luis Almagro, the president of the Association, Emiliano Gomez, Secretary Marisa Raymundo in addition to   the Saharawi ambassador in Montevideo, Cheibani Abbas and the first secretary of the embassy, ​​Mohamed Salem Abdelfatah (Ebnu).

Pan-African Parliament plans to send delegation to occupied Western Sahara

The Congress recalled to the “unfortunate implication of Moroccan capabilities in a conflict outside its borders, in an absurd war.”

Tifariti (liberated territories), Dec 22, 2011 (SPS) - SADR President and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz, ensured Wednesday the Saharawi security forces arrested criminal group involved with kidnapping of three European aid workers in Saharawi refugee camps, asserting "a great efforts are paid to release the kidnapped".


Speaking to media in Tifariti where he was re-elected as Secretary General of Polisari Front, President Mohamed Abdelaziz cited the arrested criminals "are in the hand of Saharawi security forces ".
