Tifariti (liberated territories), Dec 26, 2011 (SPS) - The Thirteenth Congress of the Frente Polisario, held on Dec 15-21 in the liberated territory of Tifariti, praised the firm positions of Algerian leadership and civil society in supporting the Saharawi cause, in a letter sent addressed to the Algerian President, Mr. Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
The letter appreciated the Algerian unconditional political support, as well as permanent accompaniment and sympathy with the Saharawi people and defending their right to self-determination at all levels and international forums.
“Saharawi People, who enjoy the warmly support and solidarity of Algeria, would like to extend to your Excellency, and through you to Algeria of pride and dignity, the words of thanks, gratitude and appreciation, praising your unconditional political support and permanent accompaniment at all levels, in defense of self-determination and national independence of the Saharawi people led by, their legitimate and sole representative, the Polisario Front,” asserted the letter.
It should be recalled that the Congress was attended by an Algerian important delegation reprersenting all components of the Algerian people. (SPS)
