UN called on to speed up decolonization of Western Sahara

Algiers, 21 February 2022 (SPS) - Participants in the Diplomatic Forum of Solidarity with the Sahrawi people affirmed, Monday in Algiers, the imperative to allow the Sahrawi people to exercise its right to self-determination, calling on the United Nations (UN) to accelerate the process of decolonization of Western Sahara, the last colony in Africa.

Chahid El Hafed, Feb 18, 2022 (SPS) -  The adviser to the Saharawi president, Mrs. Nana Labaat Rachid estimated that the participation of the Saharawi state in the work of the 6 summit of AU-EU Heads of State and Government which began on Thursday in Brussels (Belgium ) constituted "an important par on the way to achieving national sovereignty over all the occupied territories", affirming that "the Moroccan diplomacy has further consecrated the Sahrawi Republic as an undeniable reality".

Geneva, Feb 18, 2022 (SPS) - The representative of the Frente POLISARIO to the UN in Geneva, Oumaima Abdel Salam, said on Thursday that the participation of the Saharawi state in the work of the European Union (EU)/African Union (AU) Summit, held in Brussels, was of "major political and legal importance" and constituted "an important step" towards the recovery of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) of its sovereignty over all its occupied territories.

President of the International Federation of Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies visits the Saharawi refugee camps

Chahid El-Hafed, February 16, 2022 (SPS) – The President of the International Federation of Red Crescent and Red Cross Societies, Mr. Francesco Rocca, is expected to arrive this Wednesday for a visit to the camps of Saharawi refugees to find out about the situation and meet with the authorities of the Frente POLISARIO and the Saharawi Republic.
Mr. Francesco Rocca will be accompanied by the President of the Algerian Red Crescent, Mrs. Saida Benhabilis, and the President of the Saharawi Red Crescent, Mr. Bouhbeni Yahya Bouhbeni.

SPLA attacks occupation forces in Auserd, Mahbes, Hauza and Farsía sectors

Bir Lehlu (Sahrawi Republic), Feb 15, 2022 (SPS) – The units of the Saharawi Popular Liberation Army (SPLA) have today launched several attacks against the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbes, Hauza and Farsía sectors.
According to War Report No. 461 made public by the Ministry of National Defense, advance detachments of our army carried out the following operations:
- Bombing against enemy forces positioned in the Udei Adamran region, Mahbes Sector.
- Bombings against the occupation army in the Fadrat Tamat region, Hauza sector.

CONASADH: The Moroccan occupation misleads public opinion in a new failed masquerade against Khaya family

Bir Lehlou (Saharawi Republic) 14 February 2022 (SPS)- Sahrawi National Committee for Human Rights (CONASADH) denounced, in a Press release this evening, that the Moroccan authorities of occupation carried out a new masquerade against Sultana Khaya and her family yesterday, moving their forces away from the vicinity of Khaya’s sieged house before its intelligence agents filmed the surroundings, in preparation for a delegation from the Moroccan Council for Human Rights, who was planning to visit the sieged family.
