Honduras Deputy Foreign Minister on visit to Sahrawi Republic

Shahid Al Hafed, 12 February 2022 (SPS) -  Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Honduras, Mr. Torres Zelaya Gerardo José Antonio, pays on Saturday a two-day visit to the Saharawi Republic, during which he meets with officials and visits institutions and establishments of the Sahrawi state.
Mr. Torres Zelaya Gerardo José Antonio will conclude his visit by meeting with the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali.

SPLA targets Moroccan occupation forces in Haouza sector

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 12 February 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Saharawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted Friday the entrenchments of soldiers of the Moroccan occupation in the Hawza sector, according to military communiqué No. 457 of the National Ministry of Defense.
The communiqué stressed that advanced SPLA detachments targeted the entrenchments of occupation soldiers in the Hawza sector, with violent and concentrated shelling, targeting the regions of Aksibi El Nelkla, Aksibi Amechgheb and Laksibi Laksser.

Bir Lehlu (Sahrawi Republic), Feb 09, 2022 (SPS) – The units of the Saharawi Popular Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out Wednesday new attacks against the Moroccan occupation forces positioned in the Hauza and Mahbes sectors.
War Report No. 455 issued by the Ministry of National Defense highlights that SPLA units launched concentrated bombardments against various targets of enemy forces in the Lagseibi Lamlas region, in Hauza, as well as in the Um Lagta and Sabjat Tanucahd regions, in Mahbes.

Bir Lehlu (Sahrawi Republic), Feb  08, 2022 (SPS) – The units of the Saharawi Popular Liberation Army (SPLA) have today concentrated their bombardments against various enemy positions along the Wall of Shame, particularly in the sectors of Farsia and Mahbes.
According to War Report No. 448 of the Ministry of National Defense, units of our army have launched heavy bombardments that have caused fear and panic in the ranks of the soldiers of the Moroccan occupation forces stationed in the following positions:

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 7 February 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out new attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupying forces in the sector of Hawza, indicated the National Ministry of Defense in its military communiqué No. 452. 
Advanced detachments of the SPLA targeted the entrenchments of occupation soldiers in several regions of the Hawza sector, including the regions of Rous Benzekka, Lemkiteb and Rous Terkanet, the same source said.

AU Summit suspends decision to grant observer status to Zionist entity

According to the communiqué, "SPLA units carried out intensified attacks targeting the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupying forces in the regions of Chadimiya and Rous Es-sebti in the Mahbas sector, as well as in the region of Laksibi Lamlas in the Hawza sector.

President of Republic arrives in Addis Ababa to partake in 35th Summit of African Union Heads of State and Government

Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), 5 February 2022 (SPS) -  President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, arrived Friday in Addis Ababa, to take part in the 35th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the African Union scheduled to be held on Saturday and Sunday at the African Union Headquarters, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Upon his arrival at the airport, President Brahim Ghali was received by a ministerial delegation, led by Minister of Health Lia Tadesse.

United States committed to backing efforts of Personal Envoy of UN Secretary General for Western Sahara

Washington, 5 February 2022 (SPS) -  The head of U.S. diplomacy, Antony Blinken, reaffirmed Thursday the continued commitment of the United States to support the efforts of the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary General for Western Sahara, Staffan de Mistura in the UN political process for Western Sahara.
The spokesperson for the U.S. Department of State, Ned Price, announced in a statement the meeting between Secretary of State Antony Blinken and the Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary General for Western Sahara, Staffan de Mistura, in Washington.

New York, 3 February 2022 (SPS) - In a press release made public yesterday, Member of the National Secretariat, Representative of the Frente POLISARIO at the United Nations, and Coordinator with MINURSO, Dr Sidi Mohamed Omar, emphasised the full responsibility of the occupying state of Morocco for torpedoing the 1991 ceasefire through its act of aggression on the Sahrawi Liberated Territories on 13 November 2020.
