London (UK), 29, March 2022 (SPS) - The British NGO Western Sahara Campaign expressed its resentment at the decision of the Spanish government to abandon its commitment to the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination, as established by resolutions 658 and 690 of the Security Council.
In a statement made public yesterday, the British NGO said that "with its support for the Moroccan proposal, the Spanish government turns its back on the Saharawi people's right to self-determination."

London, 28 March 2022 (SPS) - The Western Sahara Campaign (WSC) UK has indicated that Spain's new position towards Western Sahara illustrates the "scandalous abandonment" of its responsibilities, calling on it to reverse its "shameful" decision.
"We call on Madrid to reverse its shameful decision and reaffirm our solidarity with the Sahrawi people living under occupation and in exile," the British organization affirmed in a statement.

Delegation of European Parliament visits Sahrawi Republic

Shahid El Hafed, 28 March 2022 (SPS) - A delegation of the European Parliament starts on Tuesday a visit to the Sahrawi Republic, during which it will find out about the situation of Sahrawi refugees and learn about the experience of institutions of the Sahrawi state.
The delegation, led by former Austrian minister and member of the Socialist Party Anders Schieder, will have a popular welcome upon arrival in the wilaya of Boujdour.

Shaheed El-Hafed, 27 March 2022 (SPS) - Prime Minister Boushraya Hamoudi Bayoun said on Sunday that Spain's reversal on the Western Sahara issue was a "break in the Spanish historical consensus" and a "concession" made by the Spanish government to Morocco.
The decision taken by PM Pedro Sanchez "will not affect the legal status of Western Sahara, nor the nature of this conflict as a decolonization issue,” Boushraya Bayoun told APS.

SPLA targets entrenchments of Moroccan occupation soldiers in Mahbes and Amgala sector

Birlahlou (Saharawi Republic) - Units of the Saharawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out, Saturday, new attacks against the entrenchments of the Moroccan occupying forces in the sectors of Mahbes and Amgala, indicated the Ministry of National Defense.
Advanced detachments of SPLA targeted the positions of the occupation soldiers in the regions of Amegli Edechra and Amegli El Hara in the sector of Amgala, said the ministry in its communiqué N 494.

Birlahlou (Sahrawi Republic), 26 March 2022 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) carried out attacks Friday on the entrenchments of the occupation forces in the areas of Laagad and Aguirat Ould Ablal in the Mahbas sector, said the military Communiqué No. 493 of the Ministry of National Defense.
According to the same source, detachments of SPLA carried out Thursday attacks against the Moroccan occupation forces' entrenchments in the Mahbas sector, targeting the enemy forces' in the Oudi Umarkaba area.

Sanchez violated Spanish constitution and international law in Western Sahara

Madrid, 26 March 2022 (SPS) - Second Deputy Prime Minister of Spain, Yolanda Diaz, affirmed that Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez's decision regarding Western Sahara is "unconstitutional," noting that Sanchez "violated the Spanish constitution as well as international law in order to satisfy the Moroccan occupation regime."

In War Report No. 490 of the Ministry of National Defense, units of our army launched intense and concentrated bombardments against the following enemy positions:
- The Acheidmiya region, in the Mahbes sector.
- The Rus Asabti region, in the Mahbes sector.
- The region of Udei Adamran, in the Mahbes sector.
