Pamplona (Navarra), Nov 18, 2019 (SPS) - The Saharwa Delegation in Navarra represented by Lehbib Breika and Mohamed Gailani, respectively, delegate and sub-delegate, held a working meeting with members of the Peace and Freedom Intergroup in the Sahara, headed by its president, Carlos Mena Blasco and accompanied by Patricia Perales, Isabel Aranburu, Marisa de Simón and Javier García Giménez.

ُEl-Aaiun (Occupied Territories), 17 November 2019 (SPS) - The Moroccan occupation authorities arrested on Friday morning , in the occupied city of El-Aaiun, Sahrawi activist and human rights defender, Mahfuda Bamba Lafkir, while she was attending the trial of two young Sahrawis.
This arrest comes in retaliation for its positions on the just cause of the Sahrawi people and their right to self-determination and independence.

Port of Gulluk (Turkey) 10 November 2019 (SPS)- Western Sahara Resource Watch (SWRW) denounced on November 6 Turkish company, Gümüşdoğa, implication of illegal imports of occupied Western Sahara’s fisheries products.
WSRW indicated in a news story on its website that “Turkey has become the leading importer of fishmeal from occupied Western Sahara. The aquaculture company Gümüşdoğa turns the meal into valuable fisheries products for the European market.”

Algiers, 4 October 2019 (SPS) - The UN Security Council’s latest resolution on MINURSO mandate has been “disappointing and below the expected level,” said Sunday the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) to Algiers and member of the Polisario Front General Secretariat, Abdelkader Taleb Omar.
It marks deterioration in the recently achieved momentum (in Western Sahara issue), he said.
