Sahrawi refugee camps: Spanish Foreign Minister alerts on security situation rejected

Madrid, 2 December 2019 (SPS) - Spanish intellectuals and political groups have expressed their rejection of the alerts of Spain's Foreign Affairs Minister, Josep Borrel, regarding the security situation in the Sahrawi refugee camps.
The Sahrawi News Agency (SPS) on Sunday received several messages rejecting the Spanish Minister's allegations, while expressing their solidarity and support for the Sahrawi cause.

Shaheed Al-Hafed, November 30, 2019 (SPS) – Dozens of delegations of Spanish solidarity activists have arrived in the Sahrawi refugee camps. 
The arrival of the Spanish solidarity activists in the Sahrawi refugee camps comes in response to the statements made by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which called on the Spanish citizens not to travel to the Sahrawi refugee camps.
The solidarity activists affirmed that the Spanish Foreign Ministry's statements were unfounded and that the Sahrawi refugee camps were safe.

The Labour Party’s Manifesto gave an important space to the respect of the international law, criticizing the attempts by many international powers to weaken the rule of law in international relations.

Berlin, 30 November 2019 (SPS) - Sahrawi human rights activist Aminatu Haidar called Wednesday, in Berlin, on the German government to address the current situation in occupied Western Sahara, arguing that European countries should not maintain relations with Morocco, an expansionist country known for its constant violations of international law.
Sahrawi activist, Aminatou Haidar, met with the German Federal Government's Commissioner for Human Rights and Humanitarian Aids, Barbel Kofler, to discuss the current situation in occupied Western Sahara.

Minister Pandor sends message of condolences following the passing of the Saharawi Ambassador to South Africa

Pretoria (South Africa) 29 November 2019 (SPS)- The South African Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Dr. Naledi Pandor, expressed on behalf of President Cyril Ramaphosa, her condolences to the family of the late Ambassador of the Saharawi Republic to South Africa, Bachir Radhi, and to the government and people of the Saharawi Republic.
The Saharawi Ambassador to South Africa passed away last Wednesday afternoon following a short period of illness, and was burried in the cemetry of the Wilaya of Smara in the Saharawi refugee camps.
