Shaheed Al Hafed (refugee camps), August 11, 2012 (SPS) - “Polisario Front has a firm conviction that from now on there will be neither attacks nor even treacherous blows,” said Mr. Bachir Mastapha Sayad, Member of the National Secretariat and Minister of State, during a reception held Friday evening at headquarters of the Presidency on honour of the Spanish delegation of aid workers that makes a four-day solidarity visit to the Saharawi refugee camps.

Accra, August 11, 2012 (SPS) - The Saharawi President, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, took part Friday in the state funeral of former Ghanaian President John Atta Mills, who died suddenly on July 24, along with several heads of states and government as well as other foreign dignitaries and diplomatic corps accredited in Accra.

Shaheed Al hafed (refugee camps), August 11, 2012 (SPS) - The Representatives of organizations, NGOs, universities that were a part of the delegation that concluded Friday evening a solidarity visit to the Saharawi refugee camps have asked  the Spanish government to reconsider its decision to bring home the aid workers from the Saharawi refugee camps, in a manifesto signed by members of the delegation.

Shaheed Al Hafed (refugee camps), August 10, 2012 (SPS) - Head of the Liaison Office of the UN Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) in Tindouf, the Sudanese Omar Bashir Manis, considered Wednesday that there is no reason for the UN to evacuate its foreign aid workers from the Saharawi refugee camps, during a meeting with Spanish aid workers visiting the Saharawi refugee camps.

Accra, August 09, 2012(SPS) - President of  Republic and Secretary General of  the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdelaziz arrived today  in Accra at the invitation of President of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama to take part at  the funeral ceremony of the late President Professor John Evans Atta Mills.


President of the Republic was received at the Accra's Kuame Nkrumah Airport by a ministerial delegation led by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ghana, Mr. El Haj Mohamed Moumouni.

Shaheel Elhafed(Refugee Camps), August 08, 2012(SPS) - The President of the Spanish Coordination of Associations in Solidarity with Saharawi people  (CEAS), José Taboada, said Wednesday the solidarity of the Spanish associations and organizations with Saharawi people will not be stopped by terrorist attacks.

Shahid Alhafed, August08, 2012(SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mohamed Abdel Aziz, on Wednesday, indicated that “the terrorist attempts of the Moroccan state will not affect in any way on the relationship that exist between the Saharawi people and Government and the friendly Spanish peoples “   in his speech in  a ceremony organized in honor of baccalaureate holders.

Madrid, August7,2012(SPS)  - A Spanish delegation led by President of the Spanish coordination of associations in solidarity with Western Sahara (CEAS) José Taboada startes  Tuesday a visit of solidarity to Sahrawi refugee camps.

The purpose of this four-day visit consists to reaffirm the solidarity with the Sahrawi people after the repatriation last 27 July of Spanish aid workers working in the Sahrawi refugee camps.

Shaheed Al Hafed (refugee camps), August 5, 2012 (SPS) - Office of the POLISARIO National Secretariat strongly condemned Sunday the acts of repression and oppression as well as gross violations of human rights committed by Moroccan state on the defenseless Saharawi civilians, including the brutal attack on a demonstration organized last Thursday in the occupied city of Dakhla by a group of Saharawis certified, in a statement concluded a meeting chaired by the President Mohamed Abdelaziz.

Cantabria (Spain), August 5, 2012 (SPS) - The Cantabria Non-Governmental Organizations for Western Sahara have regretted decision of the Spanish government to withdraw aid workers from the Saharawi refugee camps, describing it “unfounded act” which would lead to negative repercussions on the Saharawi refugees, according to a statement published Saturday by Spanish Press Agency (EFE).

Harare, August 5, 2012 (SPS) - The National Secretary of League Youth of the Zimbabwe African National Union - Patrioric Front (ZANU - PF), Absolom Sikhosana, condemned Morocco’s position and described it contrary to international will, affirming strong and unconditional support to the struggle and right of Saharawi people to self-determination and build an independent state, during a meeting held Saturday in Harare, capital of Zimbabwe, with Saharawi Ambassador to Zimbabwe Mr. Deich Mohamed Saleh.

Basque, July 4, 2012 (SPS) - Demonstrations denouncing Spanish Government’s decision to bring home the aid workers form the Saharawi refugee camps held Friday in Basque Country, Spain, in solidarity with the Saharawi people and with their right to self-determination.


The demonstrations organized in the cities of Bilbao, Vitoria and San Sebastián.
In Bilbao, a group of Saharawis, sympathizers and representatives of 13 Basque municipalities staged outside the Spanish Representation.

Madrid, July 4, 2012 (SPS) - President of the Republic and Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Mohamed Abdelaziz, said Friday that the latest actions of Rabat in “blocking the negotiations aiming for the referendum on self-determination, have made the factor of an eventual return to the war more clearly than ever,” in an interview with the Basque newspaper Gara.

Paris, August 4, 2012 (SPS) - The French Association of Friends of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (AARASD) has called on France’s Government, which chaired Security Council current Aug, to defend the United Nations resolutions on Western Sahara, recalling in a statement published last week to the position expressed by France’s Foreign Minister during his recent visit to Algeria.

Braia (Cape Verde), 03 August, 2012 (SPS) - The Socialist International Africa Committee reaffirmed the support of the Socialist International (SI) to the right of the Saharawi people to self determination, during its meeting held on 30 and 31 July in Praia, Cape Verde.

The committee urged Morocco and the Polisario Front to continue direct negotiations under the UN auspices, reiterating its support for the efforts of UN Secretary General and his Personal Envoy to achieve "a peaceful and lasting solution to the conflict".

Algiers , August 2,2012(SPS) – Minister for Africa, Brahim Mokhtar, has indicated that the Saharawi Republic and the Polisario Front are waiting for an official explanation from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Spain of the real reasons behind the repartition of humanitarian agencies in the camps Sahrawi refugees.

Algiers,august2,2012(SPS) - The chairman of the Algerian National Committee for Solidarity with the Saharawi People (CNASPS), Mahrez Lamari, said Spain’s decision to repatriate its aid workers from the Saharawi refugee camps was "a maneuver driven by undisclosed designs.
