SPLA units target Moroccan military backup bases in Hawza sector

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), June 07, 2024 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted the Moroccan occupation soldiers in the Hawza sector, causing heavy losses in lives and equipment, reported the military communiqué issued by the Central Directorate of the Political Prefecture of SPLA.

Sahrawi delegation participates in the Australian Council of Trade Unions conference in Adelaide

Deterioration of health condition of Sahrawi civilian prisoner

Ait Melloul, June 05, 2024 (SPS) – The Sahrawi civilian prisoner within the Gdeim Izik Group, Ibrahim Dadi Ismaili was transferred by the administration of the Ait Melloul2 prison to the hospital due to his deteriorating health condition, but he didn’t receive any medical treatment or examinations, reported the Association for the Protection of Sahrawi Prisoners in Moroccan Prisons.

Geneva Support Group reaffirms its support for the Struggle of the Sahrawi People

Geneva (Switzerland), June 04, 2024 (SPS) - Representatives of the countries comprising the Geneva Support Group for the Protection and Promotion of Human Rights in Western Sahara, reiterated "their steadfast support for the struggle of the Sahrawi people and their just cause to establish their right to self-determination and independence", stressing "that international law, the United Nations Charter and its clear resolutions regarding decolonization remain the only way to resolve the conflict in Western Sahara".

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories) , 3 June 2024 (SPS) - Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted supply and support bases of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbes sector, causing "heavy casualties in lives and equipment" in their ranks, according to the military statement issued by the Central Directorate of the Political Commissariat  of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army on Monday.

Prime Minister Chairs Government Meeting

Shaheed El-Hafed, 2 June 2024 (SPS) - Member of the National Secretariat and Prime Minister Bushraya Hamoudi Beyoun chaired a government meeting dedicated to monitoring the implementation mechanism of programs at all levels, centrally, regionally, and locally.

The meeting discussed files that require follow-up on their implementation within the annual government program, and the mechanism for their implementation in the framework of dealing with the legislative body.

Sahrawi Ambassador received by Angolan Foreign Minister, bilateral cooperation and common  issues top discussions

Luanda (Angola), 1 June 2024 (SPS) - Sahrawi Ambassador to the Republics of Angola and Namibia, Mr. Hamdi Khalil Miara, was received Friday by the Angolan Foreign Minister, Mr. Téte António, at the Angolan Ministry of Foreign Affairs headquarters in Luanda.

According to a statement issued by the Angolan Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the talks focused on issues and related to bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Angola and the Sahrawi Republic, in addition to renewing common positions on a number of continental and regional issues.

Solution to conflict lies in exercise of Sahrawi people's right to self-determination

New York (United Nations), 31 May 2024 (SPS) - The Polisario Front's representative to the UN and coordinator with MINURSO, Sidi Mohamed Omar, stated that the basis of the solution to the Western Sahara conflict lies in the Sahrawi people's exercise of its inalienable right to self-determination and independence.
