Deterioration of health condition of Sahrawi civilian prisoner

Ait Melloul, June 05, 2024 (SPS) – The Sahrawi civilian prisoner within the Gdeim Izik Group, Ibrahim Dadi Ismaili was transferred by the administration of the Ait Melloul2 prison to the hospital due to his deteriorating health condition, but he didn’t receive any medical treatment or examinations, reported the Association for the Protection of Sahrawi Prisoners in Moroccan Prisons.

The association was informed by the family of the Sahrawi civilian prisoner Ibrahim Dadi Ismaili, that the latter suffered again from severe pain in the knee, after which he was transferred to the hospital without receiving any treatment or medical examinations, as he was informed by the hospital administration of the need to wait in prison for weeks or months to benefit from the medical examinations.

The family added that the hospital supervisors informed the Sahrawi civilian prisoner Ibrahim Dadi Ismaili that the health condition he is suffering from requires medical examinations using a radio scanner as soon as possible without setting a date for that, which is considered tampering with the fate of the latter and a blatant collusion between the hospital administration and the prison administration of Ait Melloul 2.
