Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), July 26, 2024 (SPS) - Advanced units of Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted the positions and trenches of the Moroccan occupation forces in the Farsya sector.

According to the military communiqué issued by the Central Directorate of the Political Prefecture of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army, advanced units of SPAL carried out on Wednesday a concentrated bombardment targeting an enemy base in the Al-Feyayen area in the Farsya sector.

Algiers, July 26, 2024 (SPS) – The Secretary General of the General Union of Algerian Workers Mr. Amar Takdjout, received on Thursday, a Sahrawi delegation led by the Secretary General of the Sahrawi Trade Union (UGTSARIO), Mr. Salama Al-Bashir.

The meeting, which was held at the headquarters of the General Union of Algerian Workers, falls within the scope of cooperation and joint coordination between the Algerian and Sahrawi trade union organizations.

Minas Gerais (Brazil), July 25, 2024 (SPS)- The Polisario Front Representative in Brazil, Ahmed Moulay Ali, accompanied by members of the Brazilian Association for Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, held a meeting with the Mayor of the Brazilian City of Januaria, Mauricio Almeida, where the two parties discussed the most important developments in the Sahrawi issue at various levels and ways to enhance and promote joint cooperation.

Algiers, July 24, 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi ambassador to Algeria, Member of the National Secretariat Abdelkader Taleb Omar, stressed that the Sahrawi people are determined to continue the struggle against the Moroccan occupation until independence is achieved and sovereignty is completed over all the territory of the Sahrawi Republic, praising Algeria's role in defending just causes in Africa and the world in various international forums.

Shaheed Al-Hafid, July 24, 2024 (SPS) - The Minister of Public Health, Mr. Salek Baba Hassana, received on Monday, specialists in the field of mental health and human rights from the Hegoa organization.

The meeting discussed some projects related to supporting and strengthening the role of mental health in health institutions and units. It also addressed the consolidation of the culture of mental health and human rights by conducting several trainings and workshops in this field.

The military communiqué issued by the Central Directorate of the Political Commissariat of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army indicated that SPLA detachments carried out Monday a concentrated bombardment, targeting the artillery of the Moroccan occupation army in the Gelta sector.

Puerto del Rosario (Canary Islands), July 23, 2024 (SPS) - The authorities of the Puerto Rosario City Council, led by the mayor, David de Vera, the First Deputy Mayor, Juan Jiménez, together with the host families, welcomed the Sahrawi girls and boys, as part of the Vacations in Peace  program.

The mayor welcomed the children and expressed his pleasure at the collaboration and the solidarity of the Canarian citizens who demonstrate empathy with the Sahrawi people and their cause year after year.

The military communiqué issued by the Central Directorate of the Political Commissariat  of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army indicated that advanced detachments carried out a concentrated bombardment targeting a base of the Moroccan Royal Army in the Mahbes sector, causing heavy losses among the ranks of the Moroccan army.

Shaheed Hafed, July 22, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, chaired an expanded meeting on the educational system, attended by members of the Permanent Office of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, the Government, and the Walis, in addition to the Ministry of education and vocational training.

Pretoria (South Africa), 22 July 2024 (SPS) -  The president of the Republic of South Africa, H.E. Mr. Cyril Ramaphosa, has reiterated his country’s stand of solidarity with the Sahrawi people for self-determination and independence.

In his opening speech to South Africa’s parliament, President Cyril Ramaphosa said, “We stand in solidarity with the peoples of Western Sahara and Palestine who are still being denied their right to self-determination.”

Algiers, July 21, 2024 (SPS) - The Secretary-General of the National Union of Sahrawi Women (NUSW), Ms Shaba Seiny, met with women's organizations from Algerian civil society.

Ms Shaba Seiny met with members of the National Office of the Association of Algerian Muslim Scholars, and the discussion focused on the Sahrawi  issue and the role of the Sahrawi women, who is considered one of the pillars of Sahrawi society and who has played a major role in building the institutions of the Sahrawi state.

Managua (Nicaragua), July 21, 2024 (SPS) - The participants in the International Trade Union Forum organized by the Sandinista Workers' Central in Nicaragua, from July 16 to 19, affirmed their support for the inalienable right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and independence.

The participants in the international forum held in Managua, in their statement, called for the necessity of organizing the referendum approved by the United Nations in Western Sahara, which guarantees the legitimate and inalienable rights of the Sahrawi people.
