The Communist Party of Kenya hails the ruling of EU Court on Western Sahara, denouncing EU attempts to overturn it
Nairobi (Kenya) 17 October 2024 (SPS)- The Communist Party of Kenya (CPK) strongly endorsed the recent ruling by the European Court of Justice (ECJ) invalidating agreements between Morocco and the European Union (EU) that exploit the natural resources of Western Sahara.
In a statement issued by its Central Organizing Committee (COC) Yesterday and published on its official Website, the CPK described the ruling as a pivotal moment in the Saharawi people’s fight for independence and their inalienable right to self-determination.
Polisario Front rejects any discussion, proposal or idea outside the legal framework of the Sahrawi issue

Closed-door consultations of Security Council on MINURSO
New York (UN), 17 October 2024 (SPS) - The UN Security Council held closed-door consultations on Wednesday evening in New York regarding the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO).
Under the presidency of Switzerland, the Council heard a briefing from the UN Secretary-General's Personal Envoy for Western Sahara, Staffan de Mistura, who presented the results of his activities over the past few months, including his visit to the Sahrawi side on October 3rd.

Algerian Minister of Mujahideen arrives at Sahrawi refugee camps at start of visit to Sahrawi Republic
Shaheed Al-Hafed, October 17, 2024 (SPS) - The Algerian Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Laid Rebiga, arrived Thursday at Raed Farraj Airport in Tindouf as part of a visit to the Sahrawi Republic.
Upon his arrival at the airport, the Algerian minister was received by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Sidati, the National Director of Protocol, Mr. Bellahi, and the Wali of Tindouf, Mr. Daho Mustafa, along with civil and military authorities of Tindouf.

CJEU ruling supports truth about Western Sahara
Wilaya of El Aaiun (Refugee Camps), 14 October 2024 (SPS) - The president of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente Polisario, Brahim Ghali, said the latest ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) had supported the truths about Western Sahara, stating that "Morocco has no sovereignty over the territory, which are two separate and distinct countries."
The President of the Republic dubbed the European court's decision "historic" and a "great victory for Western Sahara people and for law, justice and legality."
SPLA targets command post of Moroccan occupier in Mahbes Sector
Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 14 October 2024 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted a command post of the Moroccan occupier in the Mahbès sector, the Central Directorate of the Sahrawi Army’s Political Commissariat said on Sunday.
A command post of a hostile battalion belonging to the Moroccan army was bombed on Sunday morning in the Laakad region in the Mahbès sector.
Attacks by the APLS continue against the positions of the Moroccan occupying forces, causing heavy human and material losses.
President Brahim Ghali congratulates new Ethiopian President
Shaheed El Hafed, October 14, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente Polisario, Mr. Brahim Ghali, sent a congratulatory message on behalf of the Sahrawi Republic, its people, and government, as well as on his own behalf, to the newly elected President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E.Taye Atske Selassie.
In his message, President Brahim Ghali expressed his wishes for the Ethiopian President's success and fulfillment in his noble duties, as well as for the Ethiopian people’s prosperity and well-being.

Brazilian Trade Union Federations expresses solidarity with Sahrawi people's struggle to complete their national sovereignty
Brazil, October 13, 2024 (SPS)- The Brazilian Trade Union Federations (CTB) expressed its full solidarity with the Sahrawi people in their historic and just struggle to complete their sovereignty over their entire national territory.
The trade union group also expressed its satisfaction with the important victory achieved by the Sahrawi people and the ruling issued in favor of the Polisario Front by the European Court of Justice to annul trade and fishing agreements between the European Union and Morocco.
