El-Aaiun (Occupied Territories), July 23, 2018 (SPS) – The Association for Resource Monitoring and the Protection of the Environment in Western Sahara (AMRPENWS) welcomed the decision of the US firm -Innophos Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: IPHS) to suspend its phosphate import operations from Western Sahara, dubbing it a new victory for the Sahrawi question.

One of the most important companies in the controversial phosphate business in Western Sahara is ending its involvement. Innophos Holding's exit might lead to the US totally terminating its decade-long imports from the occupied territory.

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), July 22, 2018 (SPS) - The Polisario Front expressed its “deep concern” over the attitude of some countries of the European Union (EU) which are still receiving products from the occupied Sahrawi territories in flagrant violation of the humanitarian international law, said M’hamed Kheddad, head of the external relations of the Polisario Front’s national secretariat.

Brussels (Belgium), July 22, 2018 (SPS) - Sahrawi delegate minister for Europe, Mohamed Sidati, said Sunday that the European Commission which agreed with Morocco about a text on the Fisheries Agreement including Western Sahara waters "only encourages the Moroccan occupation of the Sahrawi territories."
Such attitude puts the European Union credibility in doubt.

Algiers, July 19, 2018 (SPS) - A delegation from the National Council of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), headed by Mr. Hmuda Hamda Zein, Vice-President of the National Council of the Sahrawi, was received yesterday by the Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly, Aziz Bazzaz.
