President of National Council concludes his visit to Kigali after participating in inauguration ceremony of Rwandan President

Kigali (Rwanda), August 13, 2024 (SPS) - Member of the National Secretariat and President of the National Council, Mr. Hamma Salama, concluded his visit to Rwanda on Monday, after participating in the inauguration ceremony of the Rwandan President, Mr.Paul Kagame, representing the President of the Republic, Mr. Brahim Ghali.

The President of the National Council was bid farewell at the Kigali International Airport by the Minister of Youth of Rwanda, Dr. Utumatwishima Jean Nepo Abdallah.

SPLA attacks support center of Moroccan occupation forces in Laakad region

Bir Lehlu (Liberated Territories), August 12, 2024 (SPS) - Advanced detachments of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted a support center of Moroccan occupation forces in Laakad region in the Mahbes sector.

The military communiqué issued by the Central Directorate of the Political Commissariat of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army indicated that the advanced detachments targeted on Monday a support center behind enemy lines in the Laakad region of the Mahbes sector, which led to heavy casualties in lives and equipment.

The NUSW stressed in a statement that this victory enhances the reputation of Algerian sports on the international stage, and proves deservedly that Algeria, which gave birth to the heroines of the liberation revolution will remain the birth of champions.

Mauritian Newspaper highlights French policy shift and its contradiction with international legality

The article argues that this new position contradicts international law and shows bias towards Moroccan occupation.

Addis Ababa, (African Union)– 9 August 2024 (SPS)– The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic presented its experience in combating counterfeit Medicines during the African Health Ministerial Dialogue on Countering Counterfeit Medicines organized by the African Commission on Health and Humanitarian Affairs, in the Headquarters of the African Union in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Friday 9 August.

This event was part of the regular 5th session of the Specialized Technical Committee on Health, Population, Nutrition, and Drug Control organized last week.

Algiers, August 09, 2024 (SPS) - The Algerian National Liberation Front Party organized a solidarity symposium with the Sahrawi people at the party's headquarters in Algiers, in the presence of a significant number of party officials and cadres.

During the symposium, participants expressed their strong condemnation of the French government's biased position towards the Moroccan thesis and the policy of expansion in Western Sahara, stressing that the old-new position taken by France will not change the legal nature of the Sahrawi issue.

According to the military communiqué issued by the Central Directorate of the Political Prefecture of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army, advanced units of SPLA carried out on Tuesday, concentrated bombardments targeting a hostile Moroccan military base twice in a row in the Aaghed Araghan area in the Mahbes sector.
