Al Jama-ah condemns repression by Moroccan security forces in occupied territories of Sahrawi Republic

Johannesburg (South Africa), June 10, 2019 (SPS) - South African political party Al Jama-ah has strongly condemned the ongoing repression in the occupied territories of the Sahrawi Republic by the security forces of the Moroccan occupying army, in a statement today. 
The party reiterated strong support to the Sahrawi people and reaffirmed its unconditional solidarity with the Sahrawi people in their struggle for self-determination, independence and for the respect of human rights.

Shaheed Al-Hafeed, June 9, 2019 (SPS)- President of Republic, Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Ghali, reaffirmed the determination of the Sahrawi people to make further sacrifices to complete the sovereignty of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR).
Chairing the Council of Ministers, President Brahim Ghali said that the Sahrawi people’s struggle to recover their legitimate rights and independence “will continue and cannot be curbed by the Moroccan occupier’s intransigence policies and obstructive manoeuvres.”

Repression of Sahrawis in Smara: Frente POLISARIO seizes UN bodies

New York, June 9, 2019 (SPS) - The Frente POLISARIO seized the United Nations bodies following the brutal repression of young Sahrawis in the occupied city of Smara by Moroccan security forces as they celebrated the release of Sahrawi political prisoner Salah Labseer.
The representative of the Frente POLISARIO to the United Nations, Dr. Sidi-Mohamed Omar, on Saturday sent a letter of condemnation to MINURSO head, Colin Stewart, the UN Under-Secretaries in charge of political affairs and peacekeeping operations, and members of the Security Council.

The Permanent Bureau will examine the security situation in addition to the underway preparation for the upcoming Youth and Student Summer Program.

Anniversary of Sahrawi armed struggle: 46 years of resistance

Algiers, May 21, 2019 (SPS) - Sahrawi ambassador to Algiers Abdelkader Taleb Omar said Monday that the anniversary of the armed struggle outbreak mark 46 years of the Sahrawi people’s resistance, who refuse that their rights are alienated and accept no further alternative but the right to self-determination.
In an interview to APS, on the occasion of the 46th anniversary of the Sahrawi armed struggle outbreak, Taleb Omar said that "the Sahrawi people continue to resist and no one can force them or deprive them from their rights."
