Bir-Lehlu (liberated territories), Jan 2, 2017 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Ghali, sent a message of congratulations his Cuban counterpart, Raul Castro Ruz, on the 58th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban revolution.
"I am pleased to express, on my own behalf, on behalf of the Saharawi Government and people, to Your Excellency and the brotherly people and the Cuban government, my congratulations on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the Cuban revolution," wrote the President of the Republic in his letter. 

Shaheed Heddad Base, Jan 2, 2017 (SPS) – President of Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, Brahim Ghali, Shaheed Heddad military base, accompanied by the minister of defence and a number of staff of Sahrawi people's Liberation Army.
The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces inspected the conduct of the military establishment and a batch of trainees specializes in the field of armors, where he noted the outstanding performance and high level of training and proficiency in various specialisations.

Madrid (Spain), Jan 1, 2017 (SPS) - Spanish Popular Party has affirmed its support for a just and lasting political solution acceptable to the parties to the conflict in Western Sahara, under the principles of the charter of the United Nations, according to Spanish media.
This comes in the framework of the preparation for the 18th conference held in February in Madrid, where several lectures will be presented on the Spanish European and international Affairs.

Shaheed El-Hafed (refugee camps) Jan 1, 2017 (SPS) –Secretary-General of  the Youth Union (UJSARIO) Zain Sid-Ahmed received Saturday a youth delegation representing  Spanish  provinces of Madrid, Valencia , Asturias and Murcia.
The meeting focused on ways to strengthen the bonds of joint work between the Sahrawi youth and their Spanish counterparts, as well as sensitize the Spanish youth on the Sahrawi issue, especially at universities
