Bir-Lehlu (liberated territories), Jan 2, 2017 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Ghali, sent a message of congratulations his Cuban counterpart, Raul Castro Ruz, on the 58th anniversary of the triumph of the Cuban revolution.
"I am pleased to express, on my own behalf, on behalf of the Saharawi Government and people, to Your Excellency and the brotherly people and the Cuban government, my congratulations on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the Cuban revolution," wrote the President of the Republic in his letter.
The President of the Republic paid a resounding tribute to late Fidel Castro, stressing that his departure was a great loss for the oppressed peoples and all humanity in spite of "his legacy full of achievements, contributions, ideas and thoughts in favor of the oppressed and of all mankind ".
The President of the Republic reiterated the commitment and determination of the SADR government to further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation between the Saharawi Republic and the Republic of Cuba. (SPS)
