Dakhla (refugee camps), May 3, 2014 (SPS) - The U.S.-based Moroccan journalist, Samia Razougui, said Friday that her participation to the 11th edition of the International Film Festival in Western Sahara (FiSahara), underway in the Wilaya of Dakhla, is an “opportunity” for her to be informed about the reality of Western Sahara conflict, contrary to those misinformation promoted by Moroccan authorities.

El Aiun (Occupied Territories),  May 2, 2014 (SPS) -  Adala UK has participated in a conference in El Aiun, organised by the coordinator of the GdeimIzik camp, following the announcement of the launch of a national and international campaign for the liberation of Saharawi political prisoners. Several other Saharawi NGOs and media representatives also attended the conference.

Shaheed Hafed, May 2, 2014 (SPS) - President of the Republic Secretary-General of the Polisario Front on Mohamed Abdelaziz supervised Thursday the commemoration of the International Workers' Day at the presidency.

The Programme of  commemoration  included the organization of a sit-in  in solidarity with the Saharawi political prisoners in Moroccan prisons, during which a message from Sahrawi workers to the political prisoners and a statement on the occasion were read.

Dakhla (refugee camps), May 2, 2014 (SPS) - The U.S. filmmaker David Riker, editor and writter of Dirty War Documentary, has noted that everyone of the Saharawi people he spoke with, from the grandparents to the children, share “a common dream” for the independence for their land, expressing commitment to tell people in the U.S. about the plight of Saharawi people.

Dakhla (Refugee Camps)- Prime Minister Abdelkader Taleb Omar on Wednesday expressed satisfaction with the resolution of the United Nations Security Council though it does not provide for the extension of the mandate of the UN Mission for Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO) to include human rights monitoring in the occupied Sahrawi territories.

Dakhla (refugee camps), May 1, 2014 (SPS) - Prime Minister Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar has urged, in a speech on Wednesday during the opening ceremony of the FiSahara 11th edition, UN Security Council to find a new approach to the Saharawi cause, in case there achieved no progress this year.
