Copenhagen, 8 April, 2012 (SPS) - Danish Minister for Trade and Investment, Pia Olsen Dyhr, said "Denmark will not support or subsidize Danish companies that operate in Western Sahara where the question of sovereignty is presently unresolved”, according to the Polisario Front representation in Denmark.

Saharawi government strongly condemns abduction of Algerian diplomats in Mali

Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), April 08, 2012 (SPS) -The Saharawi government has strongly condemned the abduction of Algerian diplomats in Mali, expressing solidarity with the Algerian people and government and demanded their immediate release, according to statement of Ministry of Foreign Affairs released on Saturday.

 

“The government of the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic strongly condemns the cowardly abduction of seven Algerian diplomats by an unidentified elements in northern Mali town of Gao”, said MFA statement.

Brutal intervention against a peaceful rally in occupied city of Smara

Smara (Occupied Territories), April 04, 2012 (SPS) - The Moroccan Security forces brutally intervened on Monday in occupied city of Smara against a peaceful protest demanding the right of the Saharawi people to self-determination.

 


"The Saharawi masses were protesting peacefully, raising the Saharawi flags and chanting slogans calling for enabling the Saharawi people to their rights to self-determination and independence " reported a Saharawi human rights source.

London, April 04, 2012 (SPS) - The Executive Director of the British organization "War on Want", John Hilary, on Tuesday has expressed support for the Saharawi people's right to self-determination and independence, during meeting with the Polisario Front representative in London, Lamine Abaali.

 


Mr. John Hilary stressed that it is time for the Saharawi people to decide their fate in accordance with international resolutions and conventions.

Venezuela reiterates support to right of Saharawi people to self-determination

Algiers, April 03, 2012 (SPS) - The Ambassador of Venezuela in Algeria, Hector Michel Mujican, has renewed on Monday  his country's support to the right of the Sharawi people  to self-determination, during a meeting with Ambassador Brahim Ghali held at Venezuelan Embassy to Algiers in the presence of Ambassadors of countries friends of SADR.
