Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories) - April 14, 2024 (SPS) - The attacks by the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) against the entrancements  of the Moroccan army soldiers behind the wall of shame and humiliation continue.

According to a statement from the Central Directorate of the Political Commissariat of the SPLA, advanced units of the SPLA conducted Saturday bombardment on an enemy base belonging to a brigade of the Moroccan Royal Army in the Mahbes sector, resulting in significant loss of lives and equipment.

Montevideo (Uruguay), April 12, 2024 (SPS) - Emiliano Gómez López passed away on Thursday in the city of Montevideo. He was a man who dedicated a significant part of his life to the struggle for the freedom and independence of the Sahrawi people.

Since the early 1980s, he began an important task of raising awareness about the Sahrawi people's cause and their struggle for liberation in the Oriental Republic of Uruguay, as well as in Argentina and Brazil.

Madrid (Spain), April 11, 2024 (SPS) - A delegation of General Union of Workers of Saguia el Hamra and Río de Oro (UGTSARIO) was received at the headquarters of the USO trade union, in the second phase of its visit to Spain.

A meeting and open discussion were held on various issues of interest to the two unions, especially on the international scene and some issues of common interest.

Madrid, April 10, 2024 (SPS) - The General Secretaries of the Spanish Workers' Commissions Union (CCOO) and the General Union of Workers of Saguia al-Hamra and Rio De Oro (UGTSARIO), Mr. Unai Sordo and Mr. Salama Bashir, met Wednesday in Madrid for a working meeting.

During the meeting, the two organizations exchanged their shared experiences from previous years and discussed new mechanisms of solidarity and support for Sahrawi workers.
