Permanent Bureau holds preparatory meeting for upcoming session of National Secretariat

Shaheed El Hafed, April 19, 2024 (SPS) - President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, chaired Friday a meeting of the Permanent Bureau of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front.

This meeting falls within the framework of preparing for the upcoming fourth ordinary session of the National Secretariat. The meeting discussed the latest developments in the national issue.

Podemos organizes conference in European Parliament to defend peace and international legality in Western Sahara and Palestine

The event, which saw the remote participation of Podemos' Secretary General, Ivone Belarra, has been a crucial space for the exchange of ideas and the promotion of dialogue.

CIG and UGTSARIO join forces for Sahrawi cause

Vigo (Galicia), April 19, 2024 (SPS) - The Galician Intersindical Confederation (CIG) and the General Union of Workers of Saguia el Hamra and Rio de Oro (UGTSARIO) have signed a collaboration protocol to support the Sahrawi cause. This four-year agreement strengthens the commitment of the Galician trade union to the Sahrawi people and their struggle for the independence of Western Sahara.

Frente POLISARIO Representative at the UN debunks again the claims of the representative of the occupying state

New York (United Nations), 18 April 2024 (SPS) - In  a statement issued today, Dr Sidi Mohamed Omar, Member of the National Secretariat, Representative of the Frente POLISARIO at the United Nations, and Coordinator with MINURSO, debunked the claims made by the representative of the occupying state of Morocco to the United Nations during the Security Council Debate on “The role of young persons in addressing security challenges in the Mediterranean” held yesterday.

Arab International Conference of Solidarity with Sahrawi People: Pledge to continue advocating for right to self-determination until freedom and independence are achieved

Shaheed El Hafed (Refugee Camps), 18 April 2024 (SPS) - The participants in the Arab International Conference in Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, held in the Shaheed  El-Hafed, Sahrawi  refugee camp, renewed their solidarity with the Sahrawi people in their just struggle against the Moroccan occupation and condemned the occupier's crimes against Sahrawi civilians. They pledged to continue advocating for the right to self-determination until independence is achieved for the Sahrawi people.

International Arab Conference in Solidarity with Sahrawi people

Shaheed El-Hafed (Refugee Camps), April 17, 2024 (SPS) - The works of the International Arab Conference in Solidarity with the Sahrawi People, under the supervision of the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, in its third edition under the slogan "Challenges and Prospects," were launched on Wednesday.

The event was attended by Prime Minister Mr. Bucharaya Beyoun, members of the National Secretariat, Sahrawi officials from various sectors, and solidarity activists from Arab countries.

5th Diplomatic Forum of Solidarity with Sahrawi People: Urgent call for resumption of peace process

Algiers, 17 April 2024 (SPS) - Participants at the 5th session of the Diplomatic Forum of Solidarity with the Sahrawi People have reaffirmed their unwavering support for the Sahrawi people's struggle to exercise their right to self-determination and independence. They called on the United Nations Security Council to urgently relaunch the peace process and put an end to the obstacles created by the Moroccan occupation to impede the resolution of the conflict and perpetuate it.
