Boumerdes (Algeria), August 23, 2016 (SPS) - the Polisario Front, praised on Monday the European Court of Justice's decision of December 10, 2015, which annulated the Moroccan- EU agricultural agreement because the latter includes the territory of Western Sahara.

Occupied El Aaiun,  August 23, 2016 (SPS) - Moroccan forces brutally repressed a peaceful demonstration organized by young Sahrawis at the Foum Al Ouad beach, located 25km west of the city of occupied El Aaiun.
Sahrawi protestors chanted slogans claiming Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination and independence, denouncing the systematic plundering of Western Sahara’s natural resources by the Moroccan occupier.

Praia (Cape Verde), August 20, 2016 (SPS) The Special Envoy of the President of the Republic, Mhamed Khadad, was received Friday by the President of the Republic of Cape Verde, George Pedro Mauricio dos Santos, who handed him a message from President of the Republic, SG of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, in which he reiterated the will of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic to consolidate the ties of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Algiers, August 19, 2016 (SPS)- The president of the National Advisory Commission for the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights (CNCPPDH) Farouk Ksentini said he is “fully confident” in the Sahrawi woman’s ability to take example from the Algerian woman, by effectively participating in the recovery of her country’s independence, under occupation for over 40 years.

Dar Es-Salam (Tanzania) , August 19, 2016 (SPS) -The president of the United Republic of Tanzania John Pombe Magafuli reiterated, Wednesday, his country’s “strong support” to the Sahrawi people’s just fight and their legitimate right to freedom and independence.               

ChahId El Hafed, August 18, 2016 (SPS) -  The heavy rain that was recently hit  the camps of El Aaiun in the Saharawi refugee camps has caused considerable damage to many tents and adobe houses of Saharawi refugees.
 
According to a statement of Saharawi Red Crescent (SRC), rains has left 11 people injured, one of them in serious condition and 6 of them were evacuated to the hospital in the Algerian city of Tindouf.
