In this message, the President expressed, on behalf of the Polisario Front, to Mr. Ould Abbes, warm congratulations and sincere wishes, following his election as the Secretary General of Algerian National Liberation Front (FLN).

Shaheed El-Hafed (Refugee Camps) - The Polisario Front condemned Morocco's hindrances to UN-sponsored negotiation process between the two conflicting parties, to find a permanent solution allowing Saharawi people to exert their right to self-determination.

Shaheed El Hafed, October 23, 2016 (SPS) – UN Under-Secretary-General for Peacekeeping Operations Hervé Ladsous arrived Sunday in Sahrawi refugee camps in the framework of a working visit that led him to the parties to the conflict, the Polisario Front and Morocco.
The UN official who was received by Saharawi coordinator with MINURSO, M'hamed Khadad, held meetings with the Minister of National Defence, Abdelah Lahbib and Secretary of State for Documentation and Security, Ibrahim Ahmed Mahmoud.

Shaheed El Hafed, October 22, 2016 (SPS) The Saharawi Red Crescent (SRC) expressed "profound" concern about the reduction of the basic food basket for the Saharawi refugees as result of the delay of the Spanish government’s contribution for 2016.
"We are concerned about the decline in the food basket of the Sahrawi refugees since the beginning of this month, causing a 50% reduction in the monthly quota for the month of November," said a statement of the Saharawi Red Crescent.

Madrid, October 20, 2016 (SPS) - Frente Polisario representative in Spain, Ms. Jira Bulahi said Wednesday that "the solution to the conflict in Western Sahara is to organize the referendum on self-determination" to put an end to fourth decades of occupation and suffering of the people of Western Sahara.
 

New York, October 20, 2016 (SPS) -  Polisario Front's Representative to the United Nations Ahmed Boukhari has denounced, once again, Wednesday in New York, Morocco's hindrances to process for the resolution of Western Sahara conflict, which requires the resumption of negotiations.
Boukhari underlined Rabat's repeated "delaying tactics" to undermine the efforts of the UN Secretary General's Special Envoy for Western Sahara, Christopher Ross and delay his trip to the region.

New York (United Nations), October 20, 2016 (SPS) - The United States proposed Tuesday at the UN Security Council to send a mission to Western Sahara to speed up UN  process for the settlement the conflict between Polisario Front and Morocco.
The American proposal, made at a Security Council meeting on Western Sahara Tuesday, has been approved by all the member states of the UN body, Ahmed Boukhari, the representative of the Polisario Front at the United Nations, told APS.

Brussels, October 18, 2016 (SPS) -The European Union (EU) should ensure human rights' militants supporting Sahrawi people access to occupied territories in Western Sahara, Euro-MP Paloma Lopez, who questioned High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini about the measures taken in this regard.
