Salma Daf: Sahrawi State, a national, regional, international reality

Algiers, Nov 28, 2017 (SPS) - The Sahrawi minister of Information Hamada Salma Daf said Monday, in Algiers, that the Sahrawi State is today “a national, regional and international reality,” calling on the Moroccan party to stop its obstinacy and act positively with the United Nations and its special envoy to Western Sahara, Horst Kohler.

Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Nov 28, 2017 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Gali, arrived on Tuesday in the Ivory Coast Abidjan, to participate in the Fifth European Union-Union Summit African, which will start tomorrow, November 29.
Upon arrival, the head of state, was received by the minister of public function and the minister of tourism.

South Africa affirms UN responsibility in implementing international legitimacy resolutions in Western Sahara

Algiers, Nov 28. 2017 (SPS) - The South African Ambassador to Algeria, Mr. Delmo Denis, affirmed the responsibility of the United Nations in implementing the resolutions of the international legitimacy regarding the Sahrawi issue during his reception by the Saharawi Ambassador in Algeria, Mr. Bouchraya Hamoudi Bayune at the Saharawi Embassy in Algeria
They appreciated the excellent historical relations between the two countries and the prospects of strengthening them in many fields.

Fight against terrorism, drug trafficking: SADR, Mauritania foster cooperation

Nouakchott (Mauritania), Nov 27, 2017 (SPS) - The Minister of State, Adviser at the Saharawi Presidency and Member of Polisario Front's National Secretariat, Bashir Mustapha Sayed, praised Sunday the level of cooperation between Mauritania and the Saharawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR), expressing the determination of the two sides to boost coordination in the fight against terrorism, drug trafficking and organized crime which, he stressed, are real threats to the region.

Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Nov 27, 2017 (SPS) - A SADR delegation attended Sunday experts meeting in preparation for the 5th the African Union and European Union summit due to take place in Abidjan, on November 29-30.
The Saharawi delegation is composed of Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, Minister Delegate to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in charge of African Affairs, Hamdi Khalil Mayara, and Ambassador and Permanent Representative of the Saharawi Republic to the AU and Ethiopia, Lamine Baali.

COPPPAL adopts resolution in support to Sahrawi people's struggle against colonization

Tegucigalpa (Honduras), Nov 26, 2017 (SPS) - The 35th Permanent Conference of Political Parties of Latin America and the Caribbean (COPPPAL), held from 23 to 25 November in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, wrapped with the adoption of a resolution in support to the Sahrawi people's struggle for decolonization and recovery of their territorial sovereignty.
In its final statement, COPPPAL expressed "the concerns of Latin America and the Caribbean political parties about the tragic situation and the suffering of the Sahrawi people for more than 41 years."
