National Council Headquarters, Nov 30, 2017 (SPS) - The Autumn Session of the Saharawi National Council (Parliament) was inaugurated Thursday at the School  of June 9, with the presence of its Speaker, Jatri Aduh, the Prime Minister, Abdelkader Taleb Omar and members of the legislative and executive power.

SADR partakes, without any complex, in AU-EU Summit

Abidjan, Nov 30, 2017 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) is taking part, without any complex, in the 5th African Union-European Union Summit in Abidjan, said Thursday Minister of State and advisor at the Sahrawi Presidency Bachir Mustapha Sayed, welcoming the fact that the Sahrawi flag waves in the Ivorian capital among the national flags of other African and European countries.

Abidjan (Ivory Coast), Nov 30, 2017 (SPS) - The Fifth European Union-African Union Summit wrapped up , Thursday,  in the Abidjan, with the approval of several policies related to peace, security and the partnership between both continents
The AU-EU Summit agreed on multiple recommendations, particularly, on the fight against terrorism, the promotion of peace on both continents, as well as investment for sustainable development in Africa and the creation of monitoring mechanisms and the holding of periodic meetings between the two blocs.

European activists denounce Morocco’s human rights violations in Western Sahara

Brussels, Nov 29, 2017 (SPS) - The human rights violations perpetrated by Morocco in Western Sahara are numerous and daily, said Tuesday, in Brussels, the participants in a meeting on the situation of human rights in the occupied territories, denouncing the various attacks on the Sahrawis, notably the torture, population transfer and unfair trials.

Algeria renews unconditional support to Western Sahara people's cause

Algiers, Nov 29, 2017 (SPS) - Deputy speaker of the People's National Assembly (lower house of Parliament), Djamel Bouras, renewed, at the Saharawi refugee camps on Tuesday, "Algeria's unconditional support" to Western Sahara people's struggle to restore their freedom and achieve their self-termination.
Bouras, leading an MP delegation attending the festivities commemorating the 42nd anniversary of the creation of the Saharawi National Council, renewed Algeria's "principled and consistent" position in favor of Western Sahara people's cause.

5th Euro-African Summit kicks off with the participation of Sahrawi Republic

Abidjan (Côte d'Ivoire), Nov 29, 2017 (SPS) - the 5th Euro-African Partnership Summit has began Wendesday  in Abidjan, with the participation of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) among 83 heads of State and Government of the European Union and the African Union, including the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Brahim Gali.

Abidjan, Nov 28, 2017 (SPS) -  The Ivorian capital Abidjan will host on Wednesday and Thursday the 5th African Union-European Union Summit with the aim of boosting partnership between the two continents.
