Shaheed Hafed, 29 January 2024 (SPS) -  Specialized teams have begun the fieldwork for polio vaccination in all wilayas, amidst a large presence of children who are the target of the vaccination, and notable compliance from their mothers with the accompanying procedures for the vaccination process.

The polio vaccination campaign targets children between the ages of two months and six years, according to a detailed schedule prepared by the Central Directorate of Prevention in collaboration with the regional health directorates.

Algeria, January 27, 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi Minister of Culture, Mr. Moussa Salma Labid, was received by his counterpart, the Algerian Minister of Culture and Arts, Dr. Soraya Mouloudji, in the capital, Algiers.

The meeting was attended by the Algerian Minister of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, Laïd Rebigua, the Sahrawi Ambassador to Algeria, Mr. Abdelkader Taleb Omar, and the advisor at the embassy in charge of political parties and civil society, Mr. Khalil Mayara.

Shaheed Hafed, 26 January 2024 (SPS) - A Spanish delegation from the province of La Rioja has embarked on a working visit to the Sahrawi refugee camps that will last several days.

Upon arrival, the delegation received an official and popular reception in the Daira of Hawza in the wilaya of El Aaiún. The delegation also held meetings with the authorities of the Daira, which has a twinning relationship with the La Rioja region. The delegation led a visit to some regional facilities in the wilaya, as well as national institutions and facilities.

Shaheed Hafed, 26 January 2024 (SPS) - The President of the World Union of Hassaniya Writers, Mr. Douh Ould Baniouk, began a visit to the Sahrawi Republic on Friday, indicated the Central Directorate of Protocol.

Upon his arrival at Tindouf Airport, Mr. Baniouk was received by the Minister of Culture, Musa Salma, who held an extended meeting with him at the conference hall in the wilaya of Smara.

He will also have another meeting with the Minister of Education and Vocational Training, Khatri Adouh, along with other national figures.
