Moroccan occupation authorities assault Sahrawi activists as they protest against Morocco’s candidacy for the presidency of the Human Rights Council

Occupied Laayoune, January 9, 2024 (SPS) - The Moroccan occupation forces launched a barbaric attack targeting a number of Sahrawi activists in the occupied city of Laayoune in an attempt to prevent them from demonstrating to denounce Morocco’s candidacy for the presidency of the UN Human Rights Council, according to a Sahrawi human rights source.

Geneva, 8 January 2024 (SPS) - The representative of the Polisario Front in Switzerland and to the United Nations and international organizations in Geneva, Oubi Bouchraya Bachir, said on Monday that Morocco could not chair the UN Human Rights Council on behalf of Africa, due in particular to its status as a military occupier in Western Sahara and its refusal to ratify the African Charter on Human and Peoples' Rights.

SPLA carries out new attacks Moroccan bases in Mahbes sector

Shaheed El-Hafed, 7 January 2023 (SPS) - The Annual Foreign Relations Conference continues its work for the second day in a row of the meeting of heads of diplomatic missions, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The participants listened this morning to the interventions of the heads of diplomatic missions in European countries, where the representatives presented readings of the situation in different countries and the nature of the relations that bind them to the Saharawi cause.

The Sahrawi army targets the Moroccan occupation forces in the Mahbas sector

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), January 4, 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi People's Liberation Army carried out new attacks against the Moroccan occupation forces stationed in the Mahbas sector, according to a report issued yesterday by the Central Directorate of the Political Governorate of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army.

In this context, advanced units of the SPLA carried out concentrated bombings targeting enemy bases in the Mahbas sector, causing significant losses among the ranks of the cowardly Royal Army.
