Sahrawi State determined to enshrine rule of law despite iniquitous Moroccan occupation

Boujdour (Sahrawi refugee camps), Jan 09, 2018 (SPS)- President of the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) and Secretary General of the Frente POLISARIO Brahim Gali affirmed Tuesday, in Boujdour, that the Sahrawi State is determined to honour its commitments as part of the African Union (AU) concerning the enshrinement of the rule of law and fight against all forms of organized crime and terrorism, despite the various difficulties resulting from an exceptional situation because of the iniquitous Moroccan occupation  of some parts of the Sahrawi territory.

Chahid El Hafed, Jan 09, 2018 (SPS) - After the general lawyer of the European Court of Justice, Wathelete, comes to the conclusion that the fishing agreement between the EU and Morocco is illegal to include Western Sahara and the adjacent waters, the Frente POLISARIO has requested by means of a communiqué that "all the instances of EU" consider the judgments and legal principles of its justice, in relation to the illegality of the agreements with Morocco that include the Western Sahara.

Washington (U.S.A), Jan 09, 2018 (SPS) -  The famous Boston newspaper The Christian Science Monitor addresses, in a thorough investigation, the extent of censorship on Morocco where Monarchy has a complete control on press, reinforcing trend on self-censorship.
In this regard, the government in Morocco uses several ways “to stifle the press: harassment, arrest, fines, suspension and economic pressure from advertisers close to the monarchy,” according to this investigation funded by the Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting.

Launch of annual conference of Foreign Relations

Martyr Hadad base, January 8, 2018 (SPS) - The works of the annual conference of foreign relations was launched Monday morning at the military base of Martyr Haddad.
The conference is attended by Prime Minister Abdelkader Taleb Omar, several members of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front and SADR government, and diplomatic corps.

El Guergarat crisis: Morocco against dispatching UN mission

National Council renews election of deputy speaker and chairpersons of committees

National Council, 6 January 2018 (SPS) - The National Council (Parliament) has renewed its bodies by electing a deputy speaker and chairpersons of the committees.
The renovation of the bodies of the Council resulted in electing Hamouda Hamda Zein as the deputy speaker of the Council, and Brahim-Salem Omar, Khadu Bashir Haj, Bada Sidi-Mohamed, Mahjub Ali Sheikh, Hasanitu Mohammad Shabelal, Sid-Mahdi Abd-Rahman and Brahim-Salem Mohammed Abd-lahi as chairpersons of the committees of the Council.
