Budapest, January 17, 2022 (SPS)- The Central and Eastern European Alliance for Solidarity with Sahrawi People hailed, in a letter of solidarity, the 16th Congress of the Polisario Front, which bears the name of Martyr Mohammed Khaddad Lehbib, which is held in the Wilaya of Dakhla in the refugee camps from 13 to 17 January 2023, under the motto "Escalating the fight to expel the occupation and complete sovereignty,"
The following is the full text of the letter of solidarity of the CEE Alliance which the 16th Congress of the Polisario Front received:

Dakhla (Refugee Camps), January 17, 2022 (SPS) - The Presidency of the Sixteenth Congress of the Polisario Front formed the three committees (the Basic Law Committee, the National Action Project Committee, and the Letters and Recommendations Committee) yesterday night to start their work on Tuesday morning, after presenting the narrative and financial report.

Dakhla (Refugee Camps), 17 January 2023 (SPS) - The 16th Congress of the Polisario Front received several letters and recommendations from international political parties and figures, in which they affirmed their support for the right of the Sahrawi people to freedom and self-determination.

Dakhla (Refugee Camps), 16 January 2023 (SPS) -  President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received on Monday a delegation from the Republic of South Africa representing the African National Congress headed by Mr. Obed Bapela, Minister of the Government of South Africa and member of the African National Congress (ANC), on the sidelines of the 16th Congress of the Polisario Front.

Dakhla (Refugee Camps), 16 January 2023 (SPS) -  Foreign Minister, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, received Sunday a copy of the credentials of Mr. Juan Bautista Arias Palacio on his appointment as Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Sahrawi Republic.
During the ceremony of presenting a copy of the credentials, relations and areas of cooperation and ways to strengthen them between the Sahrawi Republic and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela were discussed.

London, 16 January 2023 (SPS) - Human Rights Watch (HRW), in its annual report of 2022, reported the different human rights violations committed by Morocco in occupied Western Sahara and against the refugees and asylum seekers.
The Moroccan occupying authorities “systematically prevent gathering supporting Sahrawi self-determination and obstruct the work of some local human rights groups, including by blocking their legal registration,” the report denounces.

Algiers, 16 January 2023 (SPS) -The Speaker of the Algerian Council of the Nation, Salah Goudjil, reaffirmed the "constant and unconditional" position of Algeria in favor of the cause of the Sahrawi people and its right to self-determination and independence, in accordance with international legality and United Nations (UN) resolutions, said the council Saturday in a statement.

Dakhla (Refugee camps) - African politicians on Saturday expressed their solidarity with the struggle of the Saharawi people for self-determination and independence, reiterating their "unconditional" support for the Saharawi cause.

Dakhla (Refugee Camps), 15 January 2023 (SPS) -  The Communist Party "Communists of Russia" affirmed Saturday its "unconditional" solidarity with the Sahrawi cause and its recognition of the right of the Sahrawi people to self-determination and independence, stressing that it will remain "firm" in its position of support until the full sovereignty over its entire national territory.

Dakhla (Refugee Camps) - The revelations concerning the "Marocgate", a resounding corruption scandal in the European Parliament (EU), are only "the tip of the iceberg", said the Polisario Front representative in France, Mohamed Sidati, stressing that other MEPs and European institutions are involved in this vast network of corruption led by Rabat.
