Dakhla (Refugee Camps), January 20, 2023 (SPS) – The electoral process for the post of the Secretary-General of the Polisario Front started today at 10 am.
The Election Committee provided all the conditions for the conduct of the electoral process in a comfortable atmosphere, as it allocated 24 offices to facilitate the process.
The electoral process is expected to end at one o'clock in the afternoon to start the sorting process, as stated by the Chairman of the committee, Mr. Sid Ahmed Aliyat Hamma.

Dakhla (Refugee Camps), January 20, 2023 (SPS) - The Election Committee presented last night, two candidates for the post of Secretary-General of the Polisario Front.
The committee announced the two candidates Brahim Ghali and Bashir Mustafa El-Sayed for the post of Secretary-General of the Polisario Front for a term of three years.
The Election Committee decided to start the process of electing the Secretary-General of the Polisario front today, at 10 am.

Bir Lahlou, (Liberated Territories) January 19, 2023 (SPS) - The unites of the Saharawi People's Liberation Army bombed the positions of the Moroccan occupation soldiers in the Farsiya sector, according to Military Communiqué No. 718 issued today, by the Ministry of National Defense.
The Communiqué indicated that advanced units of the Sahrawi Army targeted the Moroccan occupation forces in Ross-Lghsaybeyin area in the Farsiya sector.

Dakhla (Refugee Camps), January 19, 2023 (SPS) – The sixteenth Congress of the Polisario Front endorsed, by an absolute majority, the basic law of the Polisario Front, after presenting the amended and added articles for voting.

Dakhla (Refugee Camps), January 18, 2023 (SPS) - The Sixteenth Congress of the Polisario Front approved with an "absolute majority" the narrative and financial reports submitted by the National Secretariat regarding the work done between the 15th and 16th Congress.
After the approval of the narrative and financial reports, and in accordance with the requirements of the Basic Law of the Polisario Front, the National Secretariat was dissolved.

Budapest, January 17, 2022 (SPS)- The Central and Eastern European Alliance for Solidarity with Sahrawi People hailed, in a letter of solidarity, the 16th Congress of the Polisario Front, which bears the name of Martyr Mohammed Khaddad Lehbib, which is held in the Wilaya of Dakhla in the refugee camps from 13 to 17 January 2023, under the motto "Escalating the fight to expel the occupation and complete sovereignty,"

Dakhla (Refugee Camps), 16 January 2023 (SPS) -  President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali, received on Monday a delegation from the Republic of South Africa representing the African National Congress headed by Mr. Obed Bapela, Minister of the Government of South Africa and member of the African National Congress (ANC), on the sidelines of the 16th Congress of the Polisario Front.

Dakhla (Refugee Camps), 16 January 2023 (SPS) -  Foreign Minister, Mr. Mohamed Salem Ould Salek, received Sunday a copy of the credentials of Mr. Juan Bautista Arias Palacio on his appointment as Ambassador of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Sahrawi Republic.
During the ceremony of presenting a copy of the credentials, relations and areas of cooperation and ways to strengthen them between the Sahrawi Republic and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela were discussed.
