Lyon (France), 7 December 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary General, Brahim Ghali, has decided to award the late Gilles Devers, the lawyer for the Polisario Front before European courts, the "Highest Honor of International Solidarity" in recognition of his "significant role in supporting the Sahrawi cause and achieving its legal victories," as confirmed by the Polisario Front's representative in Switzerland and the United Nations and international organizations in Geneva, Ubbi Bushraya Bashir.

Sahrawi delegation participates in memorial for Polisario Front lawyer at European courts

Lyon (France), December 6, 2024 (SPS) - A Sahrawi delegation participated in a memorial event for the late Mr. Gilles Dever, the lawyer for the Polisario Front at European courts, who passed away after a prolonged illness.

The memorial was held at the French Institute of Islamic Civilization in Lyon, in accordance with the wishes of the deceased. It was attended by a large audience of family, friends, and acquaintances from various fields and regions of the world.

Minister of Public Health receives delegation from Basque region

Shaheed El-Hafed, December 4, 2024 (SPS) - The Minister of Public Health, Salek Baba Hasna, received a Basque delegation that includes representatives from the EPl y BLAS and BIXI-BIXI associations.

The meeting discussed a proposal for a telemedicine project presented by the associations to contribute to enhancing health services in the camps. Members from both associations emphasized the success of this project in some countries.

President of National Council receives a delegation from AU PSC

9 June, 3 December 2024 (SPS) - Member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, President of the National Council, Mr. Hamma Salama, received Tuesday a delegation from the African Union Peace and Security Commission (AU PSC) at the National Council headquarters.
 The delegation is visiting the Sahrawi refugee camps as part of a several-day work visit to the institutions of the Sahrawi Republic.
