Bir Lehlou (Sahrawi Republic), 15 October 2024 (SPS) - President of the Sahrawi Republic and Secretary-General of the Frente POLISARIO, Mr Brahim Ghali, addressed today a letter to the UN Secretary-General, Mr António Guterres, containing the position of the Sahrawi party on some elements contained in the Secretary-General’s report on the situation concerning Western Sahara.

Addis Ababa (Ethiopia) 15 October 2024 (SPS) – A high-level Sahrawi military delegation, led by Taleb Ammi Deih, the Central Director of Operations and Inspection at the Ministry of National Defense, participated in the first Conference of African Defense Ministers in response to an invitation from the Ethiopian Ministry of Defense.

Swakopmund (Namibia) 15 October 2024 (SPS)- Namibia and South Africa jointly welcomed the recent ruling by the European Court of Justice (ECJ) regarding Western Sahara, during a meeting of the Political, Diplomatic, and Legal Committee of the Namibia-South Africa Bi-National Commission, held in Swakopmund, Namibia from October 14-15.

Wilaya of El Aaiun (Refugee Camps), 14 October 2024 (SPS) - The president of the Republic, Secretary General of the Frente Polisario, Brahim Ghali, said the latest ruling of the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) had supported the truths about Western Sahara, stating that "Morocco has no sovereignty over the territory, which are two separate and distinct countries."

The President of the Republic dubbed the European court's decision "historic" and a "great victory for Western Sahara people and for law, justice and legality."

Bir Lahlou (Liberated Territories), 14 October 2024 (SPS) – Units of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) targeted a command post of the Moroccan occupier in the Mahbès sector, the Central Directorate of the Sahrawi Army’s Political Commissariat said on Sunday.

A command post of a hostile battalion belonging to the Moroccan army was bombed on Sunday morning in the Laakad region in the Mahbès sector.

Attacks by the APLS continue against the positions of the Moroccan occupying forces, causing heavy human and material losses.

Shaheed El Hafed, October 14, 2024 (SPS) - The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Frente Polisario, Mr. Brahim Ghali, sent a congratulatory message on behalf of the Sahrawi Republic, its people, and government, as well as on his own behalf, to the newly elected President of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, H.E.Taye Atske Selassie.

In his message, President Brahim Ghali expressed his wishes for the Ethiopian President's success and fulfillment in his noble duties, as well as for the Ethiopian people’s prosperity and well-being.

Kampala (Uganda) 14 October 2024 (SPS) – The Ugandan Solidarity Association with Western Sahara warmly welcomed the ruling by the European Court of Justice, which annulled the trade agreements between the European Union and Morocco concerning Western Sahara due to their violation of the Sahrawi people's right to self-determination and their rejection by the Sahrawi people and its legitimate representative, the Polisario Front.

Boujdour (refugee camps), October 13, 2024 (SPS) - The delegations participating in the International Forum for Education and Vocational Training affirmed their solidarity with the struggle of the Sahrawi people and their support for their just cause, reviewing their countries' experience in education and training and the stages they have reached in these two areas.

Boujdour (refugee camps) October 13, 2024 (SPS) - The International Forum for Education and Vocational Training was opened on Saturday evening in the wilaya of Boujdour, Sahrawi refugee camps,  in the presence of Prime Minister Mr. Bouchraya Beyoun and members of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front and the government and foreign delegations, in addition to executives from the educational and pedagogical system.

Brazil, October 13, 2024 (SPS)- The Brazilian Trade Union Federations (CTB) expressed its full solidarity with the Sahrawi people in their historic and just struggle to complete their sovereignty over their entire national territory.

The trade union group also expressed its satisfaction with the important victory achieved by the Sahrawi people and the ruling issued in favor of the Polisario Front by the European Court of Justice to annul trade and fishing agreements between the European Union and Morocco.

Mexico City (Mexico) October 13, 2024 (SPS)- As part of the celebration of 45 years of diplomatic relations between the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic and Mexico, the two countries affirmed yesterday, the strength of their ties and their commitment to the principles of sovereignty and the right to self-determination of the Sahrawi people during an official reception for the Sahrawi Ambassador to Mexico, Mokhtar Labeihi, by the President of Mexican Senate, Gerardo Fernández Noroña.

Wilaya of Laayoune (Refugee Camps), 12 October 2024 (SPS) - The Sahrawi people celebrated today the 49th anniversary of the declaration of National Unity on 12 October 1975, and the National Day of Advisory Council, in the wilaya of Laayoune, Sahrawi refugee camps, in the presence of the President of the Republic, Secretary General of the Front, Mr. Brahim Ghali.

Castelnovo Ne' Monti (Italy) 12 October 2024 (SPS) - The municipality of Castelnovo Ne' Monti in the Reggio Emilia province of Italy signed a twinning and friendship agreement with the Daira of Lamssid, Wilaya of Boujdour in the Sahrawi Republic, marking a historic step that reflects the strengthening of solidarity and international relations.

Lisbon (Portugal), October 11, 2024 (SPS) – Concerns over potential violations of European Union laws and regulations have prompted a formal request for investigation by the Left Bloc in the Portuguese Parliament. 

On October 8, deputies Marisa Matias and Fabian Figueiredo submitted questions to the Portuguese government regarding two ships flying the Moroccan flag, "Avila 2" and "Argan 2," which were carrying plundered marine products from occupied Western Sahara to Portugal.

Bologna (Italy) 11 October 2024 (SPS) – Amnesty International Italy branch held a discussion in Bologna on the development of the human rights struggle in Western Sahara, last Wednesday, marking the anniversary of Gdeim Izik protest camp, which was organized by Sahrawis in the occupied city of Aaiun in 2010, protesting against the Moroccan occupation.

Berlin, 10 October 2024 (SPS) - Spokesperson of the German Federal Office for the Middle East and North Africa, Ms. Annika Clasen-Edris, announced that her country accepts the ruling of the European Court of Justice, which invalidates the trade agreements between the European Union and Morocco concerning resources exploited in occupied Sahrawi territories.
