Shaheed El-Hafed (Sahrawi refugee camps), 3 October 2024 (SPS) - The personal envoy of the UN Secretary-General for Western Sahara, Staffan de Mistura, arrived Thursday at the Sahrawi refugee camps to meet with the Sahrawi side.

Algiers, October 2, 2024 (SPS) - The Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Mr. Ahmed Attaf, held bilateral talks in New York with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Political and Peacebuilding Affairs, Ms. Rosemary DiCarlo, indicated a statement of the Algerian Foreign Ministry reported by APS.

Mexico City (Mexico), October 2, 2024 (SPS) - The Prime Minister, member of the National Secretariat of the Polisario Front, Bushraya Hamoudi Bouyon, participated as the representative of the President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, in the inauguration ceremony of the elected president of the United Mexican States, Claudia Sheinbaum.

In a letter to Sahrawi President: Zimbabwe reaffirms support for Sahrawi people’s right to self-determination

Harare (Zimbabwe) 01 October 2024 (SPS)— Zimbabwean President, Emmerson Mnangagwa, reaffirmed his country's unwavering support for the Sahrawi Republic and its people's right to self-determination, in a letter he addressed to Sahrawi President, Brahim Ghali, of which SPS received a copy.
The letter, dated 17th September 2024, came in response to President Ghali's message of congratulations following Mnangagwa’s recent assumption of the position of Chairperson of the Southern African Development Community (SADC).
