Sahrawi President Ghali: "We will win. It's a matter of time"

Awserd (refugee camps), May 12, 2018 (SPS) – The Sahrawi President, Secretary General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, said Thursday that the Sahrawis who resist and remain committed to their right to independence and freedom, will "win" because it is "a matter of time, even though the situation would require more sacrifices."

President of Republic sends reply letter to his Tanzanian counterpart

Bir Lehlou (liberated territories) , May 10,2018 (SPS)- President of the republic, Secretary General of the POLISARIO Front, Brahim Ghali, has sent a reply letter to the president of the United Republic of Tanzania Dr. John Pombe Joseph Magufuli, as a response to the letter he received from his Tanzanian counterpart following the tragic death of 30 Saharawi citizens in the Algerian plane crash on the 11th of April 2018.

Iran’s alleged support to Polisario Front: Moroccan allegations emanate from “cynical political opportunism”

Brussels, May 5, 2018 (SPS) - Sahrawi Minister for Europe Mohamed Sidati described Friday the Moroccan allegations on a so-called military support of Iran to the Polisario Front via Lebanese Hezbollah as “cynical political opportunism” aimed at “undermining the United Nations’ efforts” for the settlement of the conflict in Western Sahara.
“Morocco’s accusations emanate from a cynical political opportunism aimed at undermining the efforts of the United Nations,” he told APS.

South African President reiterates his country’s support to Sahrawi Republic

Pretoria (South Africa), May 5, 2018 (SPS) - South African President Cyril Ramaphosa received, in Pretoria, Sahrawi Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Salem Ould Salek where he reiterated “his country’s traditional support to the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic (SADR) in its legitimate struggle for territorial integrity and sovereignty.”
On the occasion of this meeting, Ould Salek handed over to President Cyril Ramaphosa a message from his Sahrawi counterpart Brahim Ghali.
