Cerriale (Italy), July 19, 2024 (SPS) - Mayor of Cerriale, Roberto Papagallo, welcomed Friday a group of Sahrawi children who are spending their summer holidays in the city.

The reception ceremony, held in honor of the Sahrawi peace ambassadors at the city hall, was attended by the president of the host association, Sara Scudero, and members of the association.

The Mayor of Cerriale extended a special welcome to the Sahrawi children, expressing his happiness at their presence in Cerriale and wishing them a happy stay in the city.

Rolo (Reggio Emilia), July 20, 2024 (SPS) - The Mayor of Rolo, Reggio Emilia province, Italy, Mr. Baraldi, welcomed a group of Sahrawi peace envoys who came to spend their summer vacation there as part of a "Holidays in Peace" program.

The Mayor of Rolo warmly welcomed the Sahrawi children, thanking the families for providing all the necessary conditions for the good stay of the Sahrawi children and for them to enjoy a quiet and pleasant holiday.

Huesca (Aragon) July 20, 2024 (SPS) -  The Sahrawi children in the city of Huesca were given this week a special reception by the municipal authorities and councils, after their arrival as part of the "Vacation in Peace" program.

The reception ceremony was attended by various components of the Huesca municipal authorities, including the Mayor, the municipal council, the Alouda Association in charge of the "Vacation in Peace" program, and representatives of some entities and solidarity activists with the Sahrawi cause.

Bir Lehlou (Liberated Territories), July 19, 2024 (SPS) - Advanced detachments of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army (SPLA) has targeted the positions and entrenchments of the Moroccan in the Al-Mahbas sector.

The military communiqué issued by the Central Directorate of the Political Affairs of the Sahrawi People's Liberation Army indicated that SPLA fighters' advanced detachments targeted the headquarters of an enemy corps belonging to the Royal Army in the Mahbas sector on Thursday.

Boumerdes (Algeria), July 18, 2024 (SPS) - The National Union of Sahrawi Women signed a cooperation and partnership agreement with the Algerian National Association for the Support and Promotion of Rural Women.

The agreement, which was concluded on the sidelines of the Summer University for Sahrawi Cadres in the Algerian wilaya of Boumerdes, was signed on the Sahrawi side by the Secretary-General of the National Union of Sahrawi Women, Ms. Shaba Seini, and on the Algerian side by the President of the Association, Ms. Ben Joudi Dalila.
